Interesting concept, a hotel built to include a modern art exhibit. While not fans of the genre, we were curious to see how the hotel integrated the museum component. Really liked the execution and enjoyed our king room. Bed and room furnishings were comfortable, and we appreciated the large-screen tv with easy access to the HDMI connections so we could hook up out computer for viewing and work. Unfortunately, the seating area is very small, so we had to coordinate movements when one of us wanted to get up and out of the space, but we made it work. The bathroom has ample room but for some reason they stuck the toilet next to the shower (as in just a few inches apart) which limits the space in front of the shower door. Why they did this when there is a good 4 ft between the toilet and counter is anybody's guess. Plenty of towels and two bathrobes made for a nice spa feel to the space. We also appreciated the reusable water bottles that came with the room as well as the coffee setup that included liquid creamer instead of the nasty powdered stuff most places use. The on-site restaurant is excellent and we highly recommend their selections. All the staff we encountered were lovely, personable and professional, Our only complaint -- the cost of valet parking ($75/24 hrs) is astronomical! Still, it was really nice not to have to worry about finding a parking garage nearby. We had a lovely stay and will probably stay here again.
