I have stayed in many ibis hotels before and as always the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are compact but clean. Major issue as an Englishman is no kettle or tea/coffee making facilties in the room which is unlike any other ibis I have stayed in. You have to go to reception and pay!! 2 mins walk from the station is perfect but the area is a little sketchy especially for families.

The staff was very helpful, pleasant, polite and relaxed. I attribute this partly to the 2 ladies who seemed to be CO-managers, the name of one is AGNES. While the neighborhood is not great, the location is VERY convenient and a 5 minute walk to the train station and the excellent FREE trams and transit in Luxembourg...plus one or two excellent restaurants in the neighbourhood, in particular the next street, Rue De Strasbourg.
