Less than desirable

When I woke up after the first night, a brown roach like bug was on bed, it could have been a water bug. In the corners of the room and around the sides of the walls it had not been vacuumed and one of the corners there was a piece of something that looked like food. The toilet was very low with no grab bar to be able to get up and down off of it. The Continental breakfast was a joke. Sunny d bottle warm, and a cereal bar?

Faults and deceptive advertising.

The hotel is old. It smells like smoke from previous years of smoking being allowed. There were cobwebs in our room as well as dust and dirt along the carpet edges. There was soap scum and hair in the bathroom, with the tub drain not draining properly. The TV did not work. There were no extra linens at the time we needed them. The beds sleep OK. Another big disappoint was the false advertisement regarding the continental breakfast. The breakfast included very limited options and was simply coffee and prepackaged cereal bars near a single table with 2 chairs. I will not stay at this facility again when visiting Lexington, Kentucky and feel that I should get some sort of reimbursement considering false advertisement regarding the breakfast which is one of the reasons I chose the hotel to begin with.

Upon getting door cards they did not work, after informing the desk they said they were programmed correctly and sent us back to try again. They were still not working, so back to the desk, they sent a staff member to try and they still didn't work so they had to get us moved to another room and brought back the cards. The room itself was ok. The AC seemed to not be working correctly, never cooled the room. The bathrooms floor and shower has hair from previous guests. The entire place smelled of old cigarette smoke, even though it's non-smoking. Free breakfast consisted of grab bags with Sunny D and granola bars.

Dirty

Will never stay at this place again. Was not very clean at all. We returned to our room one of the nights and there was a rat running in front of one of the entrances. I usually give places a chance but this was by far the dirtest place I ever stayed at. The bed was comfortable. The walls are very thin, I'm glad we had a sound machine and no children with us. The jacuzzi tub was small but worked, just don't expect any privacy when using the bathroom.

Cleanliness is lacking; breakfast staff lady!!

Was booked to a room that was not clean at all the bath tub was full of dirt that had settled to the bottom. Bed sheets were stained. Moved to a second room was slightly better absolutely no close outlets close to a bed that are actually able to be used. Tub in this one had a roach in it. This hotel would be a lot better it it didnt have the bugs and the carpet in the rooms were cleaner. My shoes that i only wore in the room with white soles were black after a 3 night stay. That is gross. That staff were nice and the lady that does the continental breakfast is very kind. I didn't get her name but she did tell me about her pet cat and his nickname babygirl 😊. She is a great asset to that hotel!

Good, cheap choice without sacrificing too much.

Overall, it's a good option for people looking for a cheaper experience. There's some wallpaper peeling and some water damage here and there but that's understandable for an older motel. We went during winter time so we didn't get to experience the pool. I was a little disappointed that the free breakfast turned out to be a small baggie with pretty much snack items in it.*pic included. (Though the coffie cake was SUPER good.) But that's hardly anything to gripe about. The people were nice, the beds were big, and the rooms were warm. I will definitely stay here again another time.

Need at least 2 night people to process incoming people that have or dont have reservation, carpet in certain spots seemed not clean, bed sheets had cigarette burn holes, some of the doors need to be resecured because i found homeless people in the hallways and they left trash

The hallways smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I stayed 4 nights and my room was never cleaned, shower couldn’t be used the shower head had such weak pressure, breakfast was a joke - a hostess cinnamon cake, water or sunny D and a snack bar all in a tiny brown bag. Ice all over parking lot and had to bring luggage over thick ice. Had to walk through ice to check in. Covered check in area had door locked to keep it from being used. Horrible, horrible, horrible

The tiles in the hallway floors were cracked and coming up in places. The carpet in the room was filthy. The heat either blew hellfire or nothing. Little things like the soaps and shampoos just left in a pile showed that the staff don’t really have any pride in their work

Misleading

Inconceivable!

Bed too high. Toilet too low. Toilet seat loose. Staff was VERY RUDE! Did the pre-check-in. What’s the point? In the middle of checking in, interrupted to help someone else. There were two people behind the desk. Could have helped both of us but one just stood there. When I complained, I was told I was the one being rude! I was standing with a walker and they were sitting on a stool. The next morning while checking out, I politely offered comments about the room and mentioned the treatment I received when checking in and was again called rude for doing so. Tear it down, and salt the earth. I will never stay at this chain again.
