There’s a bare bones reply for a review: the bed mattress was quality. It helped me sleep. The heat/air conditioner was not obnoxious. To me, that’s all you really need in a place to stay the night when you don’t want to fall asleep on the road. Most hotels/motels don’t get this right. Baymont did get it right.

Only criticism is the limited breakfast items, there was some sort of film left on the tiled floor (cleaning solution most likely, and the fact they entered my room to clean when I had the do not disturb sign hanging. Pluses: The room was clean, the bed was relatively comfortable, it was quiet, and the heat functioned well. The shower worked fine and there was plenty of hot water. The breakfast was decent as well. Needs work: The pillowcases were not very clean looking--they looked stained. The water for the tea at the breakfast bar was not hot at all--it needed to be heated up in the microwave. It's a two star hotel and I'd say it's a solid two plus hotel. Not great, but worth the money as long as you know what you're getting.

Check-in was great. Staff was very helpful. The room was okay. The carpet was odd, just loose on the ends and flared up against the wall, like it wasnt cut after installation. There were some random pieces of trash in the ground like a toothpick in the bathroom and what looked like nail clippings on the counter. Surfaces seemed clean other than that
