Great location, filthy room floors.

This was our 2nd time there and it seems like it's going downhill. There is no way the room floor has been mopped in weeks. Walking barefoot inside the room was impossible and nasty. I had to go to the supermarket to get cleaning stuff. There is a definite roach problem as well. The outside grounds look ok, faily clean, but water puddles on the hallways can be a pain. The staff is absolutely amazing, though. Everyone from the front desk, to the bar, to the room staff and chief engineer, all are top notch. Very helpful in every issue we had. Pull out couch matress is pretty bad, even for kids, they barely slept. Pool was great, a little crowded but that expected with the size. Bar food and drinks were average. Great location, plenty to do/see/buy/eat around.

Great family spot

This is a great place to stay for families. Very nice view of the ocean from back balcony (5th floor near end) We had activities outside the hotel, so we didn’t take advantage of many of the services - did not eat at the restaurant, order room service, or borrow from the lending closet. I love that those things are available! The hotel is not very new. It’s in good condition for its age and how many people stay there. Much of the issues seem to stem from guest use. For instance, there was a little rust on the outside of the tub where it meets the floor, and the back of the bathroom door had some moisture damage. As it is near the beach, salt air is surely a contributing factor, but some guests are not careful to turn on bathroom fans or make sure the shower curtain isn’t letting water out. Housekeeping will come clean when requested, and I only requested trash and toilet paper service twice during our 1 week stay. Front desk staff are all friendly, helpful, and have good recommendations for places to eat. This hotel is within easy walking distance to the beach. There are plenty of places to eat within 1/2 mile of the hotel. It’s convenient to many activities. Pool is lots of fun and very clean. Staff cleans it every morning and checks chemicals. The included breakfast has several hot options. They are tasty and many things to choose from. One minor thing is they serve the same hot options every day. Beachside is well worth the price. We would definitely stay with them again.

Awesome place to stay with a lot to do around.

Our stay was wonderful. The breakfsst was hands down the best breakfast i have ever had. Also we had the option to use bikes, get beach stuff lile chairs and umbrellas, surf boards, boogie boards. The rooms were extra clean and staff wss very nice

Don’t stay here

It’s was not so great, there was dog food and dog puke under the couch and dog food under the other furniture, we did not have a dog, the lamps were all dusty and I was not impressed, also staff was ringing out towels over the 3rd floor balcony and got us wet, over all would not stay there again, pool was easily 80 degrees and hot like a hot tub

We were a little disappointed in our stay. The hotel was decent. It's old but parts are updated and it was fairly clean. We didn't make it to the pool area but it did look fun. The worst part was probably the thin walls. We were woken up around 445 am by some super loud and obnoxious guests. After about 45 min of it not stopping and being loud enough to keep us up, I finally called the front desk. They said they'd send security down and we didn't hear anything after that, so I do appreciate them taking care of things quickly. Breakfast in the morning had lots of food choices but nothing super great tasting in my opinion. Since we weren't super impressed with the place we were able to get refunded for the second night and we booked elsewhere closer to our where our flight was leaving from the next day. We were glad to not have another night there.

Enjoyed our stay just a few dislikes

We enjoyed our stay! The outside pool area, games, sand area for kids and TV playing movies for kids and funny videos definitely made up for the the few things that we did not like about the room. We got the King Suite which definitely spacious. The things i did not like was the dirty floors in our room, the broken phone, & the 2 rolls of left over toilet paper that was not changed out from the previous guests.

Nice stay and close to the beach

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would definitely come back again! The highlight for our family was the lazy river—so much fun and a great way to relax and cool off in the afternoons. It really added to the vacation vibes and kept the kids entertained for hours. Breakfast on-site was a huge plus. It was convenient, tasty, and had a good variety of options to start the day right without having to leave the hotel. Also, our room was spotless—super clean and well-kept, which made us feel comfortable right away. One of the best parts is how close it is to the beach. We loved being able to just walk over and enjoy the sand and waves anytime we wanted without needing to drive or find parking. The only downside was that the elevator was out of order during our stay, and we had to climb six flights of stairs to get to our room. That was definitely a workout, especially with beach gear and tired kids in tow. Hopefully, that gets fixed soon. Overall, though, it was a great experience and we’d happily recommend this spot for a fun and relaxing beach getaway!
