I booked a room through hotel.com and somehow the check in date ended up being wrong and I was told when I arrived that the date that I had booked was incorrect and I was supposed to get there the night before. I know what date I put in the website. They argued with me about it and was extremely in-compassionate and rude and they said they were booked up now. We were supposed to start our spring break here because we were going on a 7 day cruise the following morning. It was Friday the 13th and I know that I put in the 13 th and the fact that the lady was so nasty to me about it and slammed the paper down and showed me where hotel.Com website showed that I put in the 12th was absolutely ridiculous. Even had that been correct the way she slammed it down was unacceptable as a customer service representative at a family hotel. Another lady came up that worked there was nice and found us another hotel atleast but they didn’t say sorry or act like they cared at all. The nicer lady atleast found us another place and offered us to come let the kids use their pool but by that time I was over dealing with these people at this hotel. This would have been our 2nd time coming here. It wasn’t the best room but it was convenient because they have a shuttle for the cruise ships so that’s the only reason we were staying there. They don’t show any outside pictures of the hotel because they don’t want you to see how old it is and it use to be an old days inn motel. The rooms are not updated.

Perhaps similar to others when researching hotels in Cocoa Beach, there was some hesitation to book Beachside Hotel & Suites based on some poor reviews on certain websites. Thankfully, those trepadations evaporated after arrival. Clean room, comfortable beds, good shower, fun lazy pool, free breakfast with excellent options, plenty of parking on property, and fantastic location for walking to beach, mini golf, restaurants and stores. The hotel is a great family-friendly option in the 3-star range.

The pool was the best part and it’s heated. It’s good for families that are low key and chill. It’s not a fancy place so you will see the wear and tear, which was ok, We were there for beach which is a short walk. Would have liked cleaning staff to clean though daily. They only clean once every 3 nights but you have to ask for it. Had to ask for everything we needed. Only had dj one day. Only played a movie one night. The water pressure wasn’t good for the shower. The tub dripped all night. The breakfast was good. The key cards didn’t work if another was requested. The bar restaurant was nice (foods ok not very good) but it closed early but we found many restaurants nearby.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure that your vacation is wonderful. The pool is fantastic is a little bar next to the pool where you can get snacks, food,or drinks. It’s a walking distance to the beach. You have little kid fun places for them to play outside the pool area in San Pedro, artificial grass with a bunch of toys.

Ocean was not really visible up close. The beach was within a block or two walk. Our room was very clean and quiet. Staff were amazing. Also they have a lazy river that was very clean. I would definitely book this place again.

This hotel is not on the water, but rather a 1 block walk east. The site has one building with four floors on the east side of the complex that I assume the top floors can see the water, but the buildings on the north and south side are only 2 floors, and lack the height to see the water. The staff was nice, the pool was well-kept, as well as the play/recreation area. The room itself was nice enough, but the bathroom tile grout was very dingy, and the was quite a visible amount of mildew on the floor outside of the shower. The free breakfast had many choices of eggs, sausage, French toast sticks, potatoes, and DIY waffles, as well as continental breakfast items.
