The tvs in our suite didn't work, we reported to reception but these were not fixed during our stay. When it came to showering we had no hot water, on calling reception they informed me it was for planned maintenance. However no one had told us about this ahead of time, so had an issue washing and bathing a young family of four.
No one properly explained what was included in our booking (access to complimentary breakfast and lunch in an executive lounge).
All in all had a comfy bed but was just disappointing on the above points. On check out they did offer to reduce and refund 20% of booking.

Decent hotel
Decent hotel, good value and handy shuttle bus. Children’s bed not made up and no air conditioning, but room otherwise nice. Food good but not the cheapest, restaurant a little pretentious considering it’s just an airport hotel.

Unacceptable 2 night stay!
We had booked a 2 night stay in a family room. We checked in about 8pm. When we got to our room we discovered there was an ants nest outside our bedroom door with hundreds of ants on the wall and carpet - we where worried in case they got under the door to our room. I went to reception and told them and showed them a photo. They moved us rooms straight away and upgraded us to a family suite.
We noticed that the new room was abnormally warm and there was no cool air coming from the air conditioning. So we hadn’t slept all night as the heat was horrendous. The second night was even warmer so I rang reception and they came down and they couldn’t believe the heat in our room so they got us a fan - but it didn’t nothing. The girl at reception then asked us would we move rooms again - it was late but we couldn’t breath in the room it was so warm, so we packed up again and moved rooms for a 3rd time. The new room was lovely and cool and we got a better nights sleep.
Another issue we had that there was little vegan food on the menu, For breakfast the only option was hash brown, beans, brown bread and fruit. Not good at all for the price you pay for breakfast - any other hotel we have stayed in always had better vegan breakfast options.
There was also no disabled parking. There were 3 cars parked in the front 3 disabled bays that didn’t move. And we had to park far from from the entrance.
Would I stay here again? NO! Three room moves in 2 nights really is not acceptable.

Not what you would expect from a Marriott
Swimming pool and spa were good, lack of hot water in the ladies changing room showers. Rooms are advertised as air conditioned but this seems to mean a tower fan that made little difference to heat. Furniture in room was chipped and scratched and drawers not clean. Fridge was a bonus. Breakfast area had chipped furniture and in need of a deep clean especially the tables, even salt and pepper wooden shakers were sticky. Cooked breakfast was poor, scrambled eggs drowning in liquid, with poached the only thing that looked edible. I opted for the poached egg and items from the continental table which was fine but had been looking forward to a full breakfast. Disappointed.

We were really impressed with everything, I asked for a special request for two special occasions this seemed effortless. The room and access to the executive lounge were an amazing experience. so thank you very much we will most definitely return and would recommend to our friends and family.

Amazing hotel far nicer than the hotels at airport. San Carlos superb as always. Staff very friendly and hotel super clean will always stay here when flying from Manchester airport

A few signs to reception from the bedroom would be great.
The stay was overall good.
The breakfast ( room service) let it down as asked for prunes and got dried cranberries which was disappointing!!
Also the full breakfast was not very warm.
