With our original hotel affected by a wild fire, we found Maui Coast hotel last minute but had a great night stay. Room: Spacious, modern, clean and had all the amenities that you needed. I thought the quality was similar to one of the better Marriott or Hilton. Their internet & table set up was great as I had to take a few calls in the afternoons. Location: The hotel has a Japanese restaurant on site and was 15 mins walk to a bunch of food trucks, restaurants, and groceries. In addition, it's right across from a beach (with a beautiful sunset) and 10 mins away from Wailea. Staff: They were so accommodating and helpful especially given the stressful circumstances, We honestly would consider staying at this resort for longer next time we visit this area.

The grounds and staff are amazing. The hotel...not so much. We paid for a suite and it was mediocre at best. The room smelled like urine and the wallpaper was peeling from the walls. The shower head was coming off of the wall also. A bit of a disappointment, but we only spent one night there so we made it work. I will not be returning however.
