This hotel has a lot of potential but was more style over substance on our visit. We thought it was great that they allowed us to check in early, but room was dirty, beds not made and previous guests room service not taken away. Were told to wait in pool area (about 30 mins, would text when room ready) while they rectified this and we were able to use the spa to get changed, which was great. Pool area was lovely (although daughter tripped on wet toilet floor with no signage) but everyone enjoyed the heated pool. One issue we had was with shade - there wasn’t any as all shade and parasols were in reserved cabana areas. Having received no text in nearly 2 hours I went to check on the room, spoke to a different staff member (who didn’t seem to know what had happened earlier) who provided us with a new room. On entering the room it was still being cleaned by housekeeping so there appears to be a communication issue here with foh. Room was fine, nothing special, except the view! Beds a little uncomfortable. Walls a little thin. Balcony door not lockable (maintenance quickly sorted this). At start of second day we were locked out of room as our bands had not been programmed correctly. Lots of food options - we tried the bistro for lunch which was great and reasonably priced. We used the ihop on the edge of the hotel grounds for breakfast. Again fantastic choices at a reasonable price. There is a supermarket 7 mins walk for those that want to do a bit of self catering.
