Lied about breakfast

Room was fine but old. A/C was excellent. Breakfast was NOT as advertised. Even called on the way there and told breakfast was omlets, bacon, pancakes... they had sausage patties, "congealed gravy", biscuits that looked and felt 5 days old, yogurt and cereal. Not a breakfast for a diabetic... needed protein that i was told they would have. Talked to customer service and they apologized but did not offer any compensation or future stay discount. Will not be back

Very nice staff but rooms are bad

First I want to start off by saying the people that worked the front were so very nice. Up on arrival we did notice that the pictures listed online were in fact not updated and wanted to have a look at the room. We went and asked if we could see the room and he was very nice and allowed us. The room (from a glance was clean) it also had the smell of cleaning supplies so that put my mind to ease. We were moving our daughter into college so we checked in and got back rather late. When walking in I wanted to shower and rest. The shower would not get hot so I had to turn it off and restart twice. The bathroom and sink all look awful but it was after 10 and I didn’t have time. Then the plug up area for phones and etc had a hole in the wall. I thought I’d sit down will getting ready for bed but the couch looked as if someone had used it on them. It was bad and I hated to give them such a low rating because of how friendly they were but at 200/a night I’d expect a little better than this. The sleep wasn’t great it’s actually a motel and we heard every car and conversation outside our room. A lot of parents that were dropping their kids off were very upset of how the rooms ended up looking but because it was move in weekend we had no other choice 😞

Quiet and Pleasant

Very quiet stay despite being off the main road. Guess it was because the way the hotel sits so it blocks sound of traffic. It is very close to Walmart if you need to grab anything. We stayed here in Tuscaloosa, for our 9th anniversary. Would stay again. It is gated and feeling is very welcoming. Bed is comfy and room is beautifully decorated. No coffee pot in the roof here. The breakfast selection was ok but delicious. Not a lot to pick from and no fresh fruit at this Days Inn. (We have stayed at many Days Inns and this brand of hotel is often a first choice of ours.)

Exactly as Advertised

I was in town for a friend’s wedding and at the hotel for one night. I arrived early and the individual at the front desk was very accommodating and allowed me to check in early after checking with housekeeping to make sure room was ready. The room was very clean and perfect for what I needed for the stay.

I didn't like that online it looks like an inside "HOTEL" but when we got there it was an outside "motel". People were walking and making noise all night. Front desk person was upset because I told him my TV turned off several times on it's own. He said he'll come check it out which he did. He violently shook the cord behind the TV then took it out and put it back in and walked off. I said thank you and he replied mmhm. No smiles at the front desk, no warm greeting just looks. Front desk guy asked to run my card and I asked why because it's on file already. He said in case we smoke or damage anything. He ran my card and I asked for a paper receipt and he got upset and didn't give me a paper receipt. He said it would go to my email and I told him yes I know but I also need a paper receipt. It upset him that I wanted a paper receipt, he finally gave it to me but he slid on the counter instead of in my hand. I will not be booking there again. Also the bathroom wasn't clean and hair was on the bathroom countertop.
