Another two night stay at this wonderful Marriot Delta hotel close to Edgbastern Village and a 20 minute walk or 8 minute tram ride from Birmingham Central station. Beautiful tiled entrance with wooden revolving door leaders to modern well appointed hotel rooms and spa, other facilities include gym, bar and restaurant. Large standard double room with 3 double glazed windows, desk, lounge chair coffee table, large tv, walk-in wardrobe and large marble en suite with shower over bath. Clean and natural light. Pleasant staff and convenient with on site parking.

Beautiful modernised Georgian building, marble floored and wooden revolving doors to reception, well mainted and beautifully appointed as you would expect. Helpful staff and plenty of easy access car parking for a centralised Birmingham hotel. Location is the key, 20 minutes walk takes you directly to the centre and the Bull Ring with high street shopping, positioned just outside to the left is the local tramstop (Edgbaston Village) and to the right a rail connection (Five Ways, Midland Rail), whilst driving brings you directly A4540 inner ringroad. Edgbaston cricket stadium is a good walk but still only circa 30 minutes away, whilst a plethera of resturants, bars and pubs are 5 to 10 minutes walk down Broad Street. Pleasant large double room with all the mod cons, clean airy bathroom with both bath and shower.

We have stayed at this hotel before and it’s a clean and the staff are great and friendly. I do tend to chat with staff about anything and everything and they kindly listen to me wittering along without a vacant stare on their faces. It’s nice to have a car park in the grounds, although it’s charged for but the convenience is priceless. We will be staying again in September, Edgebaston Cricket ground is a walkable distance away and that’s our reason for our stay.

We had an overnight stay. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was also clean. Overall, the room looks tired and could do with an update compared to other hotels in the city. The staff were polite and friendly. We had requested hypo allergenic bedding due to allergies and these were provided. Breakfast was good and buffet style, withplenty of choice of continental and cooked. There is parking which you pay onsite upon arrival.
