Some really good aspects: 1- room cleanliness, 2- location on the beach basically, 3- price, 4- well kept pool, 5- free breakfast,
A few cons: 1- outside is dilapidated and dirty, 2- bed was very uncomfortable, 3- no cable or satellite tv only regular tv, people allowed to sit and smoked right outside our window all morning, difficult path to room. The stairs are a little bit strange and dirty to take to get to the 2nd or 3rd floor.
Basically I would give a rating of 3.8 because it really needs tlc and updates. However, for a family or a tight budget it has a lot if you don’t care about looks. I don’t know how safe it would be for little ones though due to railing. Also I recommend the floor 2 or 3 for a view to see the ocean, otherwise you’ll be looking at cars in the parking lot. Or if you rent a room on the street side you’ll be seeing and hearing traffic. Also I don’t think there is elevator access (not 100% sure) if you need it, only stairs. Like I said access to upper floors was a bit strange (bit of a maze).
