This place looked like a low-rent apartment that had been taken over by a 55-year old batchelor. It had a nice bed, a nice TV and was just presentable enough for them to charge $89 a night and get away with it.
The walls were dirty and the paint was old. There were mystery stains on the furniture. The bathroom was small and cramped and the faucet fixture in the tub was detached from the tile. Towels were clean, but were old and sandpapery to use. There are oddities too- the shower has two refillable bottles holding shampoo and conditioner that are mounted on the wall and you squeeze for product- the same goes for a mystery lotion that is mounted next to the sink- which was outside the bathroom immediately by the door when you walk in.
The AC was cold, the bed was soft, and the sheets appeared clean, so I had no trouble sleeping there for a night. The pillows on a king bed were very small, but there were 4 of them…would have been nice to have 2-4 full size king pillows instead.
The lobby is dark and not well renovated or updated- there are literally cracked tiles and humps in the floor.
I stayed in room 132 and overall it was just a really mediocre expdrience. I guess that’s about what I whould have expected for $89 a night.
