Clean basic room. Great staff.

Inexpensive room for the area. Older hotel. Water is hot. Was 28 degrees while we were there. A/C and heat worked. Room was clean and has cable. Internet worked good. Other guests were disruptive. Hotel staff addressed it. Coffee in lobby is good. They are still not doing hot breakfast and just offers a continental bag breakfast at the front desk. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I would rate the hotel with less stars but the staff was great.

Never again!! Horrible!

I booked this room for somewhere to sleep halfway to our final destination in Raleigh. This was a horrible experience. This is a lipstick on a pig situation. Kudos to the photographer who took the pics for the web. In the parking lot there was a couple (obviously long term tenants) with a broken down car, arguing, with several kids running around at 10pm, which happened to right outside the room we were given. The front desk person was very nice and professional so I felt a little better when we checked in. Walking down the hallway to the room, I noticed one room was taped off, possible crime scene or a roach bomb had been set off?? When we walked in the room the main light flickered but would not come on. I turned in the bathroom light to find roaches crawling on the floor, black mold growing on the shower walls and the bathtub was peeling from where I think it had been painted. Dirty handprints all over the doors and headboard of the bed. Stains on the chair and comforters. I sat down long enough to book a room elsewhere. It was too late to argue or have them try putting us in other rooms so I stayed in the room to book something safer, cleaner and affordable less than 30 minutes away. I’m requesting a credit for this horrible experience.

One thing after another.

The outside looks newer than the building is in the inside. I reserved 3 room for family, had to change one room due to a/c not working. Then shower heads need repair/ replaced. This location still only offering grab n go bags. The pool is drained and in disarray. One member of our party lost their drone on the roof of the building, we tried for two days to get someone from maintenance or the owners to help us retrieve it. Maintenance guy refused and the owner would not return calls to the front desk. Can I just say, it will be my last stay at this location.

The noise from the highway was excessive. True, the hotel was next to the highway, but I’ve never experienced road noise like that in any other establishment near the highway. The shower curtain was horrible and should be replaced. The blanket on the bed smelled like B.O. The pillows were the most uncomfortable bricks. We did not utilize the property amenities as we only needed a good night sleep before continuing on our journey.

Not so good. Bed was horrible. There was supposed to be a full breakfast and all we got was a brown bag with a bottle of water a muffin and a breakfast bar. Very overpriced

Awful location and terribly dated.

Upon arriving for a late check in (approx 12am local) there was a couple in front of the building arguing about something. They had all of their clothes and personal items in a large clear garbage bag and they were rummaging through them yelling at each other. After check in, I drove around the building as instructed and there were 3-4 people drinking beverages out of a brown paper bag next to an old pickup truck. Once I parked the car, I went to open the door to my room and while the key card unlocked the door (I heard the electric lock move and the green light blinked) I wasn’t able to open the door. It was as if it was dead bolted. By the looks of the curtains and shades on the rooms, it looked as if it’s been many years since and update. I returned the keys and decided not to stay on property. The woman at the front desk was friendly, that was the only plus of the whole experience.

Kay, at the front desk upon arrival was RUDE, CONDISCENDING, not the slightest bit helpful..perfectly aweful. She acted as if I was tearing her away from her cellphone. I asked if the blankets were washed between guests and she said, “how should I know”, I asked for some clean towels and she said she didn’t have any. The a/c was not on in the room or in the hallway, the hall reeked of marijuana, there were homeless sleeping on the steps, garbage all over the place. It was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I should have received a refund. AWEFUL! But I have to say, we checked out 2 days early because of the appalling conditions, and the Expedia customer service rep, when I did finally get through, was very helpful. Thank you.
