Really bad night!

When we got there no one was at the desk to check us in & there were people sitting there waiting. They said they'd been waiting about 10 min already and once we arrived or was another 10ish min before anyone came to the desk. That night around 11pm, the person in the room above us started stomping around their room really loudly keeping us awake. At 2am we called the desk to complain and I don't think they did anything to resolve this because the stomping and loud noises continued until around 4am. This was an awful night!

Will not stay again

We upgraded and paid the difference for a room we did not get. We were not informed hotel were under renovations until arriving. Our room was not available on time. The shower was broken. Room had a terrible smell and the bedding was not changed.

I got into town a couple of hours before check in from Indianapolis for one of my friend’s wedding. There was nothing available for early check in. I was about to go out to the car to change before I explained to the lady at the front desk my situation. She hopped on the radio and her cell phone and called the cleaning staff to see how many rooms were done at that time. To my luck, a room was available. She got me checked in and I was able to make the wedding on time. I think her name was Jackie…Thank You, Ms. Jackie. You saved my life! lol I really hope that was her name. I felt bad for not being able to go back down and personally thank her myself before the wedding. The room was excellent and the bed was wonderful. I got some much needed sleep the next day. I will definitely be looking for a room here when I return

Review

The hotel was under construction so dust and noise was understandable. Just wish that someone would’ve called and warned us of the construction prior to arriving. Also the staff was very welcoming and pleasant. The only issue I had was the toilet had hair all over it and I asked to have someone to come and clean it and no one showed up, so I had to clean it myself.

Very Unpleasant Stay due to Construction

This property is under full renovations. I was not made aware of this prior to confirming my reservation. My spouse is handicap, so I requested a handicap room. The renovations required us to walk down multiple long hallways, which was a horrible inconvenience for us as my husband had to take multiple breaks while trying to walk. All night we heard loud noises, banging, bumping, and sounds that interfered with our comfort. The following morning, we were woken up to construction being down all throughout the hotel, which was so loud and noisy that we could not sleep. We got up got dressed and went down for breakfast which was nicely set up. But all around us was construction materials temporary work stations set up, so once again, our experience trying to have breakfast in the lobby was again, unpleasant. When we got back to our room, we preceded to try and get more rest. 2 minutes later, we feel all kinds of vibrations in the floor and walls and loud bumping. I called down to the front desk and asked management can they have the workers to please stop banging so that we could try and get comfortable. As a result, we were unable to get comfortable, therefore we just packed our things and left that property. We are so unhappy with our stay and felt unsatisfied with our decision in choosing this property. Hopefully others will not have this same experience.

I’m a returning customer when I visit Indiana. However this last time I will not be returning. I’m a Marriott Silver member and I confirmed late check out the day before. Around 12 regular check out they told me I had to leave. I was furious, I had a meeting I had to be on camera for. It would’ve been so much better if they would have called me earlier in the day not at check out. I will not be returning.
