Southern hospitality is top notch here. The front desk staff was very kind and personable. There was a man from the valet services that was above and beyond kind. I'm sorry I didn’t get their names.

The staff was wonderful! Our room (520) was a little spooky - felt something stroking my foot in the middle of the night (on the underside - so almost like it was inside of the bed) and then pressure on the bed like someone was standing next to me (you know how the pressue of body weight will make a bed 'sink'). Of course, I had to set up a camera to see what it was and I told the staff / manager - she offered to move us, but I wanted to give it one more night (occurances happened four nights in a row) - of course once I reported it and had a camera going - nothing but peace and quiet. Aside from the weird foot touching and feeling like someone was either leaning or standing on the bed, it was a fantastic stay! The happy hour specials were awesome as well. Thank you so much for a lovely time!

Hotel St. Marie was a wonderful boutique hotel a half a block from Bourbon street. The rooms were neat and clean with a comfy bed. The building is old but well kept. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Très accueillant, très bien placé. Malgré la proximité de Bourbon Street aucune nuisance sonore. Taille de la chambre correct pour 3 personnes, salle de bain un peu petite. La piscine est petite mais vrai plus pour se rafraîchir.

The valet got our car door dinged

Hotel made our TRIP

I cannot say enough positive things about this hotel. My expectations were that it was an older building half a block from Bourbon Street. We were met with a tour of the hotel. The swimming pool, and outdoor area were very relaxing for morning coffee and afternoon breaks in between the tours and the nightlife. The room was large enough for the three of us and much bigger than standard chain hotels. The front staff was friendly and would just start conversations about the area. We were greeted every morning by our first name by most of the workers. There was no noise from Bourbon Street heard while sleeping. The water pressure in the showers was the best I've ever had at a hotel. The cafe and bar added to the hotel were an additional bonus. They would open up the doors to the outside community, so it didn't feel like you were eating in the hotel. Everything was great. The chicken salad at the coffee shop was beyond delicious for a quick lunch or late breakfast. I feel like the hotel made our trip!

Staff is excellent. But so noisy

The hotel is located in the middle of French Quarter putting you steps from the craziness and charm of Bourbon Street. However, if you need to sleep at some point, you will be awoken by loud obnoxious bass and engine noise from the street. This occurs from 11-4am. It sounded like someone intentionally wanted to wake everyone up with his music. The balcony was so fun to sit on. But I was so exhausted from staying awake all night. If I go back I will ask for no city view.

Great hotel, the stay was very friendly and great recommendation for things to do and places to eat. Good location really in the middle of everything! Majority of things we wanted to do was walking distance! However if you are a tall person, this hotel is NOT for you!!

Three night stay for Jazz Festival

Very friendly staff at check in/check out and every time we went by the desk. Only one block from Bourbon Street but still quiet enough we slept well. Would recommend highly!

Solid choice for the French Quarter

Amazingly friendly door person and the front desk staff were helpful and professional. The room and decor is dated but honestly ot goes in line with the old charm. The front patio was very cute and good people watching and the courtyard was relaxing. Some comfy cushions on the rod iron chairs would be my only suggestion. Very nice place.
