Best stay in Cusco

This was our second hotel in Cusco we stayed at and this was certainly the best stay. The rooms was large and very comfortable with lots of space to spread around and keep your stuff. I personally loved the built in shelves on one of the walls. The bathroom was a good size and we finally did not have any water pressure issues or had to wait for the hot water to run. Breakfast was pretty standard, but the choice of fruit was really beyond what we experiences before and that was a truly pleasant surprise. This is a historic hotel with beautiful touches of wood everywhere and a little "plaza" in the main floor where you can relax. Hotel provides access to hot water and varieties of teas accessible all the time and we had good experience with the front desk helping us with the taxi to the airport.

This is not a Boutique Hotel in any way. The rooms are a 2 star hotel type tops (small bathroom, rooms with no windows). The breakfast had good fruit but bad coffee. When we stayed the workshop downstairs simply blocked the entryway with some sort of machine, it was unbelie

Buena atención y ubicación , pero incómodo dormir

Muy buena atención , el desayuno bien , si sales muy temprano te preparan algo para llevar, excelente ubicación. El único detalle es que al ser los pisos de madera , en la noche se nos interrumpía el sueño por los pasos de personas arriba de nuestra habitación , no se si eran huéspedes o área de trabajo, pero en la noche te despertaban más de una vez .

El sitio espectacular, lamentablemente el aseo al baño no fue el mejor. Me aloje durante 8 dias, luego del cuarto dia no queria desayunar, siempre lo mismo. Cero variedad.

Great unique hotel, large rooms

Our stay here was good. The room was very large and worked well for us. The architecture is fantastic with antiques and paintings everywhere. Some of amenities aren't necessarily modern or the best, but the hotel isn't designed to be the latest and greatest

O hotel é muito bem localizado e conta com um staff bem atencioso, no entanto, erra feio em questões muitos simples: o café da manhã é rico em frutas mas tem pouquissima variedade de outros itens, os itens de higiene dos quartos (shampoo e sabonete) sao repostos em quantidade quase insuficiente, os quartos são ruidosos pelo piso de madeira, o isolamenro acústico dos quartos é bem fraco, ficamos um dia sem agua quente para o banho, houve dias que nossas toalhas de banho novas ainda estavam úmidas...

Great stay and would come back.

Absolutely recommend. We arrived very early (6am) on the day of check-in with the expectation of storing our bags until later in the day, but they let us into the room immediately and even let us enjoy a breakfast. Great location close to the Plaza De Armas and tonnes of restaurants, bars and stores. Our room was clean, very quiet and comfortable. Breakfast both mornings was great and the staff were lovely. Would absolutely stay here again.

The most unique eclectic hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The whole place is like a work of art. It felt like an antique collector had decorated the hotel, added mini craftsmanship items and didn’t filled it without their collection.

Highly Recommend

The hotel was beautiful, excellent location, my wife had severe altitude sickness and without the help of the staff she probably would of ended up in the hospital, I can’t thank them enough for the hospitality, it saved our trip to Machu Picchu. If I could rate them higher I would. Thank you for everything.

Just not what you would expect

The room, location is okay. However, the decoration is full of Large Catholic paintings, Statues everywhere. It's like sleeping in a church. The wooden floors make a ton of noise, and you can hear everyones conversation. Also, don't expect them to do much more for you. I had to return earlier as my wife was not doing well due to altitude sickness. I advised them 3 days before our checkout, the front desk said they will consult with management to see if they could reimburse at least one night. Checkout a day earlier, and there was no one at the front desk to checked us out. They sent me an email saying they could not reimburse not even one night as they needed 48 hour noticed. We will not be returning there again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. Very sad as Cusco, and Peru in general are very loving people.
