staff was great. I expected a little more in a room. The heater didnt work and I didnt feel like going downstairs to let them know I was freezing. My fault but why there was no heat and it was 35 degrees outside. And no cable tv so I ended up using my amazon and watching hulu on my phone. Location was nice

Beautifully restored historic space within walking distance to all major downtown spot. We stayed for a weekend getaway and thought the location was perfect. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. The bartender at the hotel bar was extremely talented we have a great conversation for our night cap. The only thing I had an issue with was the thermostat and it took us a bit to get the hang of it cuz we didn't realize it was a remote control with a HVAC unit mounted to the wall. I feel it would have been good if they prepped us for that. And a real coffee maker would have been nice in the room... But we still had a great time.

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Its in a great location for exploring the joys of quirky Bellingham. The mix of old time charm and modern updates was excellent.
