Fantastic location just off Republic Street in the heart of Valletta. The hotel is small, the rooms well appointed and the staff welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is served on a small roof terrace and offers a good selection of hot and cold items, we especially enjoyed the daily Maltese specials.

Absolutely amazing experience. Me and my partner checked in early hours, hotel kept me informed of check in codes which made our stay very relaxed and easy to manage. The hotel is right in the heart of Valletta. Enjoy views from the roof terrace for breakfast. The room was stunning, boutique and authentic. Definitely recommend 5*

We absolutely loved our stay here. You’d find it difficult to find a hotel with a better location in Valletta. It’s right in the middle of all the shops, bars, restaurants and cafés, but our room was so quiet and peaceful you’d never know. The room was large, clean, beautifully decorated with comfortable beds and a large bathroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Great location near St John’s Co-Cathedral and city center,,yet the room was completely quiet because of thick walls. Great water pressure in the shower. Super friendly and helpful staff, especially Rana and Arnaldo. Lovely Maltese breakfast buffet on the terrace with views over the city. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous 7 night stay. The location was perfect, close to everything Valletta had to offer. We arrived early, they looked after our luggage while we went to explore, and messaged us when the room was ready. Every single member of staff was cheerful, friendly, helpful and efficient. The room was very nice, modern, and a comfortable bed. A couple of hooks to hang the robes on would be a welcome addition, as would a couple of small bistro chairs to sit on on the little balcony.The breakfast was traditional and delicious, a great opportunity to try local delicacies with a good selection and a different speciality each day. The roof terrace had spectacular views, would have loved to have sat up there in the afternoons to relax. We understand it is used in the summer for Aperitivo but sadly we were too early in the year for that. Special mentions must go to Renald and Natasha, who gave us great tips which helped us have such an amazing time.Also Arno and Rita and the rest of the team whos names we didn't get. We both felt as if we came as visitors and left as friends. Thank you for everything, we hope to see you again. Stephen & Carol

Ett väldigt personligt och fint hotell med utmärkt läge i Valletta. Vårt rum vätte mot staden och en väg som var bilfri vilket gjorde det mycket tyst. Frukosten var Maltesisk vilket var spännande - mycket nytt för oss. Personalen var mycket serviceminded och vänlig. Minibaren ingick i login.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Pjazza Merkanti and would definitely recommend to anyone coming to Malta. We were right in the heart of the city Valetta and everything was so easy to get to. Lovely modern, spacious and clean rooms and beautiful roof terrace.
