The hotel was very unsatisfactory.

The hotel was in need of alot of updating. Chairs were ripped so you couldn't sit in them. Shower didn't work, carpet was so old and rippled it is a wonder no one tripped. Floors and pipes were very noisy. I will never go there again.

Terrible

It needs a lot of work. Wasn't sure if I was going to fall through the floor in shower, fabric on cushions was peeling off, tv didn't work, you can hear people yell in the hallways. I did not feel safe at all. Was thinking about sleeping in my car instead.

It was supposed to have breakfast and didn’t. The room was really dated with cracked chairs and torn curtains. People keep giving it a high review because of the staff. The staff is good but the hotel is not. Very misleading.

WORSE HOTEL I HAVE EVER SEEN!!

Stains ALL OVER the room, chairs, carpet, BED SHEETS and most importantly on the PILLOWS, worst room I have ever seen!! The TV was all blue. I requested a refund and was completely denied. I contacted the web site and were not able to do anything, I tried getting a hold of the Hotels manager and I am still waiting for their call back. I am still seeking a refund!!!

Needs updating, repairs & cleaning.

This property needs serious up keep. Flashing light in room had to leave off the big grate cover over bathroom light hanging down. Huge bleach spots on hall carpet. Bathroom tub grout moldy. Floors LVT dirty in room. Have a Service dog and the grass area to take them to in the outside the light goes off and leaves me in the dark what the heck!!!!

Good Place

Its an older building but everything in our room was in excellent condition and clean. The entire place from the lobby to the elevator and tha halls were clean. The desk clerks were friendly. The parking lot was clean and well lit at night.

I’d stay again

For me this was fine. There was an old vintage button under the bed and quite a bit of dust. Could hear other guests when they moved around. The room was inexpensive compared to other hotels in Salem. Room rates have gone up for anything extra nice. It was safe enough. I’d recommend for someone on a budget who isn’t too fussy. I’d stay there again.

You get what you pay for

The room was big and spacious. The pillows were as lumpy as can be, which contributed to me not having a great night sleep. We were in a no-smoking room, but the place and even outside it smelled like burning weed. If you are not into cannibus, not a pleasant aromma.

No Karens Allowed

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly, bed was mostly Comfortable... Only issue was the squeaky floors. We received two noise complaints, one in the evening and one the next morning... Just because we were walking across our floor and the people below us didn't like that. Not totally the hotel's fault.. Maybe have a No Karens policy... Also, the pool is down for maintenance so if you're looking for one.. Be sure to ask first.

Staff was very nice. However, the bed and pillows were very uncomfortable. Noisy people in the hallway at 12:30am who woke us up and then were loudly knocking on doors at 2:30am. Very disappointing.
