The bed was great. Very comfortable. We loved the loft arrangement! But we hated that none of the windows opened! At the beach we want fresh air and to hear the surf and sea gulls. Since the windows didn’t open it was quite stuffy.

Lost item not returned

The problem was we left a handle to our electric toothbrush in the room and we checked out and 20 minutes later we asked to get it back and they couldn't find it. They kept giving us the runaround and telling us well to check back later. check back later check back later and they still never had it. Other than that, our trip was fine.

Hot garbage.

For the amount of money this place charges, at the very least I expected a clean functional room. There is no AC and the window is so rusted shut we had to fight to open it. Thankfully they put a 20 year old dirty noisy fan in the closet so we could sleep in the heat. The security bar was mounted in the decorative framing and not properly anchored so the the frame trim was ripped out of the wall and needed immediate repair. The bath didnt drain properly and there was a lot of obvious wear on the interior. Pool was murky and gross missing tiles all over, just an overall dump. Glad it was only a night and we know where not to stay ever again. Wouldnt even rate this hotel a half a star.

Enjoyable stay at the Promenade

This hotel is in the process of a renovation, it's obvious the new owners are making needed improvements. Had a great stay, so enjoyed the balcony overlooking the Promenade and beach - always something to see during the Summer. Beds were clean and comfortable. Having a kitchenette was very convenient and it was a very spacious room. Fantastic to hear the waves at night and watch the bonfires. The hotel location is fabulous for Seaside. Negatives: Noise - lots of families with young kids. The walls and floors don't muffle active kids from jumping around. The pool was heavily used, so I passed on that. The glass wall on the balcony was distractingly dirty, I cleaned it a few times myself since the seagulls seemed to target it during our stay. Finally, the room had a air freshener/ grandma scent to it which I noticed too often. It's an old hotel that has a lot of great features and is being fixed up.

Fantastic Location, but Be Prepared for Noise

The property is quite noisy — conversations from nearby rooms are clearly audible, and every time someone closes their door, the vibrations make everything in the room rattle. Privacy is definitely a concern here. However, the excellent location makes up for many of these drawbacks, putting you close to everything you need.

Great View!

I rented the king with balcony and kitchen. It was very spacious. The balcony had a great view of the ocean. The sound in the room itself was quiet. Near the balcony and door, you could hear the conversations from the next room. The location is great. You are right in the middle of everything. You can just park your car and walk for the weekend. I never had difficulty finding parking when I went to Cannon Beach or Hug point, even with a Corgi takeover event happening. It's great for a solo getaway. I would definitely stay here again.

Rough rooms

My daughter used there pool and got an infection because the water was so dirty and unsanitary. The rooms are very old and just look ran down. The wallpaper on the walls were bubbled and looked like they were about to peal. We got a room for technical 4 people but when we arrived at the room, there was only one bed and know we’re for my daughter to sleep, had to call room service for extra bed. The location was great and the staff was very friendly/helpful. Very expensive for not a lot. Hotel was also under construction and heard construction the entire two nights. Paid almost 700 and just feel you can get a better deal.

Accessible stay in Seaside

Green Algae in Pool

The staff was very friendly but we were very disappointed with the cleanliness and condition of the building. The pool was murky and had green algae growing in it. The bathtub was peeling, our sliding glass door could barely open, and the room was in pretty poor condition.
