I really loved the room—super cozy and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The fireplace added a nice touch and made the space feel warm and relaxing. Definitely one of the better rooms I’ve stayed in for a mountain getaway.
That said, the lobby was… interesting. The decor felt very dated and over-the-top, with an overwhelming number of tacky chandeliers. One small area had around 20 pink chandeliers clustered together—it was a bit much. Thankfully, the room made up for it.
Parking was surprisingly expensive for Big Bear, especially since most places offer free or more affordable options. However, the front desk staff were very kind and ended up waiving our parking fee due to a delay in getting our room ready. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
Despite the quirky decor and pricey parking, I’d definitely consider staying again just for the comfort and coziness of the room.
