The only thing that was not so great was the fact that the power went out right before I arrived, which sometimes is just a fluke, so had to wait a bit till I could get into my room, but the girl had already given me my passkeys and I’m temporarily using a walker so after slogging my way down the hall to my room I found the passkey wouldn’t work-apparently the girl didn’t realize the passkey cannot be coded if the power is off. I called the desk and explained my situation and someone did come and let me in with newly-programmed cards. Then I found out a lamp wouldn’t work, so the next day I asked a girl cleaning rooms if she had a replacement bulb (I had already checked and the lamp was plugged in to the wall socket)) so she left and brought back a bulb but didn’t stay to make sure that that solved the problem-and when I tried it, it still didn’t work. So I found her and said, “Don’t throw away that bad bulb, it might be something else. She said she’d report it. Then I discovered the entry light didn’t work and was told that it was connected to the desk light and that that was the reason the desk light wouldn’t work. Then the next morning Joe, the maintenance guy said he’d try to fix everything while I was out but I found a note from him later saying he was not able to fix it before I was gone. It certainly was not his fault, as he did what he could at the time. At least the bathroom light worked and two other room lights did work. I still enjoyed my stay anyway.

This hotel did not have a queen bed as advertised, they are full size beds. The hotel smelled strong of air fresheners and the room smelled like dogs and body odor. The chair in the room smelled Like someone had rubbed their sweaty butt All over them and it was by the ac unit so when we turned that on it smelled even worse in the room.

The hotel itself is nice and the staff was great and very polite and the location was convenient especially with IHOP next door. The room appeared to be clean and so did the bathroom. The bed was comfy to sleep on. Here’s what was not great at all: -people smoking weed in the parking lot -the back parking lot was not brightly lit and seemed a lil sketchy -one in bed the comforter had two feces spots on it and the duvet cover was filthy The other bed the comforter had blood spots on it-thankfully the sheets were clean -3 of the 4 bath towels had either blood or feces on them

We visited Norman Ok to watch the first and second rounds of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament at the University of Oklahoma. It was a short drive to the arena and there were plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Staff was very friendly. It is showing some age but overall clean and comfortable. The price was great. There were a lot of construction workers staying there at the time and apparently marijuana is legal in Oklahoma because you could smell people smoking a lot out in the parking lot and the smell of Mary Jane lofted throughout out the hotel. Again it was probably just bad timing as to who else was staying there. I’m not a prude and never felt unsafe. It was just smelled a lot. It’s easy access right off the interstate and I would stay again.

The checkin staff was good, the room was great. I am allergic to fur and our room had a lot of hair that was not cleaned. The chair was full and I tried to clean a bed clean.
