Older motel that has had recent refurbishing. Lobby nice. Vinyl plank flooring in place of carpet. Consequently, could hear through the walls more than most motels. Staff was great. For the price was adequate. It was clean.

I havent traveled this far south in years and the southern hospitality was everywhere in the staff except for one manager. I just tried to avoid her after that! The building is old and needs lots of work and I even heard staff talking about the owner not wanting to spend the money on repairs, just make whatever is broken mostly functional and move on. We were visiting my brother who is stationed at nearby Ft Benning and really only at the hotel to sleep and while there weren’t any bed bugs…there were other creepy crawlies around. I can’t say I’d recommend this place but I would like to at least commend the staff for being helpful to an out of towner who survived a 10 hour car ride with her mother and teenage son just to get there! Kindness and a smile from complete strangers when you’ve had a horrible day traveling with your mother…it meant a lot.

Sweet staff, rough conditions

Upon arrival the desk clerk seemed unfriendly but warmed up as she checked me in - my first impression was totally wrong. She was concerned that we would be on the second floor with no elevator and quickly offered to change that. I said as long as we are on the back side of the building it didn’t matter. She accommodated us. It went downhill once we got in the room. Loose toilet seat, broken window with tape on the glass to hold it together, a tv that had to be touched to turn on or off (remote could only change channels or volume), the bottle of conditioner that was half full and a couple roaches that were disquieting. The bed sheets wouldn’t stay on the mattress and the bed was so tall you almost had to jump up to reach it! As sweet and helpful as the staff were, it was hard to overcome the condition of the room. Great price but you give up a lot for the savings!

Worst stay ever

Worst room i've ever had at a Quality inn. Room had a bad odor of mildew. Tried to make the best of it but by 3:00 my wife was nauseated from the odor. Moved from one room to another at 3am. This room had no odor but but had two double rooms not the king we booked that smelled so bad. Couldn"t get a key for the replacement room becsuse the clerk said t the e system was down. Manager the next morning made no apologies & said she did smell the ordor but said it didn't smell that terrible to her Stayed more times than i can count @ Comfort inn and a few times @ Quality inns along with Hamptons, Holiday inn, Hilton's & Drury inns but this was by far the worst experience ever @ any hotel ive stayed & that alot over my years in sales. Never again @ Quality inns Gary Blasingame

Front desk staff was good. Room was disappointing. Roaches, mold on shower curtain, and walls have no sound proofing at all. Also on the first night we notified the office that our tv was dark over half the screen. Never fixed. Dirty bath cloths, also the phrase free breakfast should never be associated with this hotel. We will not stay at this location again
