I’m afraid this was totally disappointing. The room upgrade arranged in advance wasn’t done to accommodate our son, meaning we had to move from one room to the other. The mattress was knackered and they failed to change it after two requests. We intended to stay two nights but in the end left after one after my partner and I failed to get any sleep. I wasn’t charged for the second night and intend on ensuring we get a refund for the first night via the hotel or through a chargeback via our credit card.

Nice and relaxing hotel in a classic old building. Although the rooms are a little dated, it is in keeping with the old fashioned style of the building so it added to the character.
