We arrived frazzled to a very friendly welcome. Between the beginning and end of check in, they managed to convert my sour mood into a positive one. The place was clean, well maintained and comfortable with every convenience we could need for our stay. The toiletries supplied in the bathroom were dove, which was kind on my sensitive skin. The room was cleaned during our stay as well and we were entirely satisfied with the results. The mattress was incredibly comfortable and I slept the best I had all week. We booked to include breakfast, and the food was satisfying and fuelled our travels well. The bar had a good range of drinks and cocktails, and whilst we had other plans in the evenings, it sounded like they had entertainment on that looked to be good fun! 10/10 would stay again

The overall stay was good , with clean and well presented room . Only thing which I noticed was it’s an old building and the rooms electric infrastructure is dated . There are no usb charging port on the electric switches . I was really surprised and as I was not carrying the plugs , had to buy 2 plugs to get the charging going for the gadgets . The rooms are around £145 per night approx with No USB charging port really ……!! shocking !!!

We had a great stay. Most staff welcoming and friendly. We tried to eat at the restaurant on Valentines night, but was told it was fully booked. It did not seem fully booked when we were there (around 6:00pm) and we was not offered an alternative time. We were able to have a meal elsewhere but on return (around 7:30pm) the restaurant still didn't appear busy. Being a paying guest, it would have been nice to have been offered an alternative time. Other than that, we had a great stay.

A really good, well priced hotel. Good sized, clean room with comfortable bedding. Quiet rooms. Netflix connectivity is available on the huge in-room television. Friendly staff. There is an additional charge for parking, which I found disappointing as a guest staying at the hotel, which is not in a town or city centre location Parking is +£12 per night.. The EV charging points are plentiful, but charging is expensive.
