Air conditioning didn’t work in my room. Was moved to a room with a “portable a/c” which was a big fan unit with an ice reservoir in the top. Ok, but switched off and opened the window to sleep. The pool was a nice option to have on a hot day.

Comfortable spacious room. Well laid out. Good supply of coffee and tea but not as much milk and sugar which was disappointing. Would have liked a biscuit but hotel close to shopping centre so bought some. Didn’t check if there was a hair dryer before I washed my hair and lo and behold it was missing. Luckily was able to use pool facilities. Receptionist said she’d ask housekeeping to drop one off if they had one and they did later that evening. I liked the bathroom as it was a good size with room to place toiletries etc. Shower was quite good and the shower curtain did prevent water from escaping onto the floor. Was impressed with the air conditioning which came into its own with high temperatures outside. We were out so didn’t eat at hotel. Didn’t use car park. It was a Thursday night and there was very little noise from inside or outside the hotel. The pool was good.

The reception is bright and welcoming and easy check in. Our room was clean comfortable and had all that we needed. The heating wasn’t working properly but a plug in heater was provided. We ate in the restaurant and the food was excellent. The hotel is well situated and just a short walk to a very good shopping centre. I have stayed before and would stay again.
