I usually avoid Country Inn and Suites due to inconsistent quality/cleanliness, but tried again because the price was decent and the customer ratings were good. Never again.
After an exhausting drive, I arrived at 2 a.m. and was very much anticipating a good night's sleep.
Check in was slow but unremarkable.
The room stunk of must/mildew and the air was heavy with condensation.
The AC unit had dry/cool/heat/fan options, so I chose dry (I've never seen that mode before, but it said what I needed the room to be). The fan speed, however was stuck on low.
If you have sensitive skin, the sheets are irritating.
I was incredibly tired and did not have it in me to go through trying to switch rooms, but did let staff know upon checkout.
Overall, I do not recommend a room here.
