The hotel experience of your dreams!

Most amazing hotel experience... Beautiful hotel with incredible history. Staff was unbelievably friendly and helpful. Breakfast was extraordinary with infinite choices included and live harp music! The free hotel tour and pisco sour making class were delightful surprises. Rooms are large with modern amenities and there's a spa on site. Location is convenient to many restaurants, shops and sights. Really cannot say enough about how much we loved this hotel.

Falta de controle no check-out

A nossa experiência, como família foi boa, com exceção da saída. O hotel, aparentemente não tem controle sobre os hóspedes que já efetuaram o check-out. Quando já estávamos na rua para entrar no táxi, um dos seguranças nos abordou informando que nós não havíamos feito o checkout. Um constrangimento para quem pagou antecipadamente por uma das tarifas mais caras de Cusco. Sugiro maior controle, este tipo de abordagem não é aceitável.

Cusco luxury atay

Very nice room and comfortable bed. Great service and food. Due to small windows and lack of fans and ac, rooms can get very hot/stuffy. You can ask for a fan at front desk if it becomes too stuffy. Location is lovely as pretty central but not in San Blas so no hike yo and down hill needed to get to hotel. The building is an old Spanish colonial palace built upon an Inka temple and they do a tour which I recommend taking!

Book the hotel! Must stay.

Best hotel we have ever stayed at. Every part was the best part of our whole trip. Best parts: 1. Lobby- beautiful! Tea and water, beautiful! 2. Room!- family room- 2 rooms, tons of space, chocolate and fruit gift from hotel 3. Breakfast! 10/10. Can eat outside in courtyard with the harp being played feet away. 4. Food and drinks!- 12 days in Peru and kids wanted a pizza which did not disappoint: pepperoni on bar menu one of the best pizzas boys have ever had! 5. Concierge- Ruth and Francheska went out of the way to make us feel welcome and special. Even helped us plan a special visit to PokePark (which was a flop but actually fun) and find our lost item from vehicle to airport. 6. Tour of hotel-5pm daily that ends with Incan Musical experience in the courtyard as the staff are lighting the candles at sunset- will never forget this! 7. Facility- location amazing with a warm and incredibly unique feel, super welcoming we didn’t want to leave!

A Palacial Hotel

This is a wonderful hotel - well located in a good neighborhood. The hotel itself was a 500 year old Palace that was converted into a modern hotel. It has a great bar and dining facilities. I highly recommend it!

Poor value for money

We stayed two nights at the hotel and although we had booked a room for three using hotels.com, and the accomodation was fully prepaid, we were charged USD252.80 additional at check out for my son's stay and "mandatory" local charges. The age of my son had somehow been incorrectly captured by the hotel.com website (only for this booking among 5 other bookings where this did not happen) but at the time of check in we had clearly been informed we will be charged only an additional USD80 for his stay for 2 nights in addition to GBP 600+ already paid at the time of booking and the USD 76.80 to be charged locally for additional services. At check out it turned out to be a charge of USD 80 per day for my son's stay and this was not clearly communicated. This was very disappointing as we had clarified this at check in and had to pay ina rush at check out. Coffee machine in the room did not work, we tried several times and it didn't even have the right plug for the power socket. Also no electric kettle for tea at night. For rooms priced ultimately at over GBP400 for night for two adults and a child, it felt very sloppy. Otherwise its a historic property, with beautiful architecture and good location. Decent breakfast and the morning cappuccino was pretty good. Staff were generally polite and courteous esp at the door, restaurant and the Rumi bar. Wouldn't recommend though because if poor communication as happened with us and not very good valey for money!
