Stayed in Rm 4046 (2 queen beds). Ist bed ok. The 2nd bed closest to the window had broken box springs-sagged terribly in the middle. Felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. The Aquarius Cafe had delicious food, but seems they need more staff. Waited in line for about 20 mins to be seated & waited about 15+ mins to pay the cashier. Many other patrons were commenting in line we had to wait to get in, now we have to wait to get out. They were not happy as well.

The hotel was clean but very dated. The bed was hard, lumpy and old. The bathroom had minimal lighting and taking a shower was dark. The towels were very thin and hard. The bathroom smelled like an old wet rag. The view was nice. The restaurant had a prime rib dinner special but it wasn’t the best. The salad and vegetables tasted/looked like they were right out of a bag from Sam’s Club. We were there for one night for a concert. I’ll try another hotel next time. Not sure any thing else is better considering it’s Laughlin. The bed is the one thing that should be kept up to date

The staff was friendly and attentive. The room was reasonably clean. However we reserved 2 rooms and the lights didn't all work in either room. The comfort of the room was not the best, I ended up sleeping on the lounge chair because the bed and the pillows were really hard causing me neck pain. If my husband moved on one side of the bed the entire mattress would move and I would wake up. I see they are doing room updates so hopefully the rooms are updated soon.

The Duet cafe had a standard egg, cheese, and sausage croissant with a free coffee. Nothing special, but good for a quick breakfast. 54 cent tea and coffee refills until 6pm. The cannoli was a yummy treat. We had the prime rib special at the Aquaruis cafe, good flavor and nice portion. The line can be long and it takes a while to get seated. Once seated, it took quite a while for the server to come to the table. Ask for a drink refill early because once the food is delivered, you may not see your server again. We also had the option to try their pizza place. We ordered pepperoni. The cheese was gooey, the pepperoni was soft yet crispy edges. The ratio of sauce was good and the flavor was also good. The room was fair. The carpet in the room felt dirty and the outside of the windows could use a good cleaning. For the price it was good enough and a comfortable nights sleep.

Rooms are a bit shabby

I usually stay at Aquarius a couple of times a year for about 15 years. When I first started going here, it was so clean and nice; unfortunately, it has gone downhill and is now more on the shabby side, unfortunately. My room was fairly clean, although the bedside table was dirty and I had to clean it. Also, the air conditioner did not work well at all. I had the temp turned to lowest setting and fan on high and the room was on the warm side. I didn't switch rooms because I had already had to switch once - I had upgraded my room, and they put me on floor 3 with windows that were frosted and I had no view. The room also smelled bad. Overall, not a bad stay, but they seriously need to upgrade their rooms, especially with the kind of money they're pulling in through the casino, no excuse.

Enjoyed my stay

Everything about our stay was nice, the cleanliness of the room, the nice river view from our room, staff was nice, I also loved my servers at the cafe - Amanda and Diane. The only issue we had was hot water. It took a very long time to get hot water in our sink or shower. For a bit I had to take a cold’ish shower until I was almost done and then the hot water came.

Check in attendant not friendly and treated like it was inconvenience. Room key didn’t work and had to go back down to have dealt with again ( by different attendant). Room very clean. Bed extremely uncomfortable ( like sleeping on a board). Mattress to firm causing uncomfortable hip and leg pain. Eco friendly. Easy check out.
