Just meh

I would give this hotel an okay rating. One of the perks about this hotel was it is on the main strip in Gatlinburg. You can take the by pass and get directly to the hotel. There was free breakfast (cereal, bagels, and things like that). One of the things I felt that the hotel needed to work on was maintenance and updates. The elevator was outdated and muggy smelling. The hallway did not have any air conditioning. The toilet had to be refilled with water every other flush. The room was clean and the balcony was clean and had beautiful views of the strip.

Wake up to bug bites

Was a one night stay due to weather. Room was fairly clean. Front desk could barely get off personal phone to check in Otherwise very nice person. Parking was plentiful . I saw no bedbugs, but have some sort of bites all over my head , face and hand/wrist. Can't recommend this hotel. Location was great.

I have stayed here before and while the place is extremely outdated this room took the cake. It was off in the corner and honestly took a second to find. It looked nothing like the photos. The outdoor “patio” was disgustingly dirty with mold, still water, and cigarette butts. The bathroom had a roach in it and only one light worked in the room. Overall it was cheap but sheeesh it was honestly one of the worst rooms I have ever stayed in. The ONLY thing that was a plus was the convenience of walking downtown. If it had been for more then one night I would not have been able to stay. I was honestly scared to death I was going to bring critters back home with me.

Something to be desired…

The actual room was nice. Looked like it had been remodeled. The bathroom not so much. Toilet didn’t flush good. The shower had a hole in the ceiling that someone attempted to patch but was awful. Hole in the of the door in the bathroom.

Budget friendly.

Place was clean, easy parking, not too far from attractions and restaurants. Unfortunately breakfast was poor but money saved makes up for it I guess. Also had some issues with tub and sink draining water properly but other than that, it will do when on a budget as I was this go round.

A Good Stay!!

We truly enjoy staying at this hotel. We have been here at least three times. My only, only problem is the toilet. It is too small and too low. My husband's complaint is that he has to sit sideways. It's actually funny and we laughed the whole time about it. But other than tha, it was a wonderful stay.

Bad service dangers gas smell

The room reserved was not what was in the hotels.com pictures. Learned this by calling the hotel after booking. When we arrived the second shift clerk was not helpful at all when ask questions about restaurants that deliver or a directory in the room. Upon entering the room it had a smell. Found that the fire place was lit and the smell was the gas. Called the clerk again and all he said is there is an oxygen detector on the wall and that the fireplace cant be turned off. The air conditioning unit was extremely loud. The gas smelled kept me awake. The jetted tube was too short to relax in plus it didnt hold the water and there was no safety bar to help with getting out. There were no housekeeping services provided. We had to take our own trash out and get fresh towels for a 4 day stay. The only good part was the water pressure in the shower it was super strong.

Our stay was just for one night. Check in and out was pretty quick and easy. The continental breakfast was quick for our kids. The room and lobby and overall night stay was just ok. The place is pretty outdated and could really use touch up with new bathroom fixtures.
