The hotel is a fantastic choice if you want to find a reasonably priced place to stay in NYC. Great room, spacious and overall clean rooms and FANTASTIC people and employees at the front desk. Very helpful and welcoming when they heard our request. The only bummer was that there appeared to be a pigeon that kept making noises outside of the window during the morning - which woke us up. Everything aside from that was great.

No Breakfast and mediocre staff

Room , beds , location is excellent. However do not get fooled by “breakfast” . They server only continental breakfast but that is nothing but coffee. The receptionist did not even bother to answer us properly for pastries and fruits which was not there for breakfast . If you are considering to have breakfast , then moderne is not for you. Without breakfast this is a good option

We asked for early check in, but were told that it was not possible. TV was very difficult to use, not like any system I have ever used before - not helpful. Hotel states that stay includes breakfast. Breakfast was a choice of 4 or 5 cereals and some scones. Coffee not the best - very disappointing since featured as "breakfast included".

Great rooms and staff

Very nice size room for the price. Cool rooms with adjustable temps on what was a very hot 2 day visit to the city. The staff was great and extremely helpful. Everything either met or exceeded expectations besides the breakfast. Unfortunately, breakfast is listed as included here, but it's limited to only coffee, tea, etc and a pastry and /or small togo cereal bowl. All in all a great experience though!

O quanto é muito apertado, o banheiro mal tem onde apoiar os itens de higiene pessoal o "dito" café da manhã nada mais é que um muffin e café puro e, o pior, o ar-condicionado e daqueles antigos, com botões de girar é faz o mesmo barulho de uma geladeira velha... só se dorme de cansaço com tanto barulho alto dentro do quarto. Não recomendo. O único ponto positivo é uma boa localização, mas não vale a pena na minha opinião.

We were on the first floor, window was almost non existent and air conditioning could not keep up. Location of hotel was great and bell staff was great but there was construction right next to the hotel so that didn’t help either! Check to see where your room is! Felt like we were is a box!!

1st time at hotel even tho booked a room with balcony.ended up on 1st floor with no window. It was like sleeping in a box. When asked if i could change rooms they said no even tho they we not fully booked. 3 nites @ 1,200 usd to sleep in a box.

Les photos ne correspondent pas vraiment à l’hôtel. Particulièrement celle de l’extérieur de l’hôtel, ce n’est pas du tout ça. L’hôtel n’est pas un immeuble au coin d’une rue. La photo du petit déjeuner est celle que vous aurez, il est écrit petit déjeuner continental mais ça ne l’est pas (pas de jus de fruits, seulement quelques pâtisseries et c’est tout). Ma chambre était propre mais une fenêtre devant un mur. Bon service mais quelque peu mensonger à la vue des photos. Bon emplacement.

Room was decent, very small, clean, nice decor but no bath towels. While the front desk was attended when I arrived at 3am ? No one answered at the front desk when I called before arrival to answer questions Any why was I charged a service fee when I arrived at 3am and left at 9am when there were no towels and bad service

A tremendous disappointment. The room was small and dirty. The mattress was old, the pillows were the same. Very expensive for what they offer; from the reception, it was a very bad experience. The window air conditioner was over 20 years old. I wouldn't recommend going. We changed hotels after the first night.

This was my 5th stay at this property. Staff is alway pleasant and super helpful. The room is clean and I feel safe. I complained in my last review about the steps in the front of the property. The first step is not at the proper height and I fell on the step. Still having problems with my knee. Attention should be given to this detail. Thanks
