We had an overnight stay here during our recent trip to the Western Isles. The room was quite simple, as expected when we booked, but the welcome from the staff was very good. We had dinner in the barn, good choice available and very well cooked and again, we had great service. Same again at breakfast so in all we had a great stay and can strongly recommend

This is a great place to stay! It was a last minute booking for us and we wanted a nice quiet, quant little place to stay, and the Cross Inn delivered all of that and more. The Cross is an outstanding gem of a little hotel about a half hours drive north of Stornoway on the rugged and beautiful west coast. The staff are fabulous; the food fabulous and the rooms are comfortable. Leave the Stornoway hotels to their over-priced quest to city type uniformity and be part of the Cross. You won't regret it!
