The views from my room were breath taking. Defiantly the best view of the sunset from room 121. The room was clean and nice sized. Breakfast on the rooftop could be better with more staff. I defiantly do not recommend the biscuits n gravy but we tried many of the breakfast items and they were good. Our only other issue was a trash truck came at 5:58 AM on Monday morning and it is just below our room. It was extremely loud and not a way to be woken on vacation at that time of the morning. Luckily it was only one day so I still gave 5 stars. Everything else was great! The beach is wonderful, location is the best of the best, staff was friendly and hard working, drinks tasty, Yo Taco downstairs was our favorite food, parking was good, cleanliness A++, beach games were great, pool was clean and warm with nice seating. We will be back to this hotel!!

Ocean was visible from room. First night found a chunk of a chocolate candy bar in the sheets! Disgusting. Didn’t use the pool, as it was located adjacent to the noisy street and didn’t even allow you to bring a can of beer into the area. The room’s entry door fit so poorly into its frame, it allowed light, wind, and excessive levels of noise directly into the room. Delivery trucks backup alarms wake you daily at 6:30a.m. Drunken guests and street noise keep you awake until 1:30a.m. Hotel maintenance crews feel Midnight until 12:45a.m. Is a good time to run air compressors, power tools and power washers right outside the poorly sound insulated doors. Other than the property’s beach location and a desk worker who stored our bags upon arrival and prior to departure, can’t offer much in the way of positive comments. Stay away from here!

Would 100% stay here again. First time to Ft. Myers since Hurricane Ian and wanted to throw my $$$ towards this amazing beach town. The hotel is definitely updated and clean. Our room had a kitchenette. Every room has ocean view too. Every single staff member at the Lani Kai exudes hospitality and genuine warmth. The servers at all of the restaurants had great stories and exuded pride in where they are. If flying into Florida please consider skipping Tampa, Marco Island or even Ft. Lauderdale and come here instead. It’s not over-crowded and tons of local spots to eat. The beaches are beautiful… and you will find great shells. - See you soon (from Orlando)

Every morning at 6:45 the trash truck came in to the parking lot which all the doors were facing and when the truck backed up the back up alert, went off for approximately seven minutes. The DJ started at noon every day and went until 9:00 PM. If you were at the pool, you couldn’t even hear yourself speak because the music was so loud. The first night we were woke up from our neighbors who were having a party at 1 am so that was not pleasant as we had been traveling all day. All of the outside doors face the parking lot/ main road and it is not soundproof, and you could see light around the trim of the door when the door was closed. If you didn’t rent a beach chair from the hotel then you had to be ten feet away from the chairs, either closer to the water or behind the chairs, even though it’s the private beach of the hotel. That is nowhere advertised, not even on the rental board that has the QR code to scan. Will not be going back to this hotel.

The room was clean and we had an end unit (401) so we had an extra large balcony. 2 large tv's. It was far enough from main drag so we did not have to deal with loud drunk people. Employees were kind, welcoming, and helpful. A few issues; it took 25 minutes to get hot water to the room, bath towels were very small, dishes were not microwaves safe. I would book a stay there again for sure.

The room was in good condition and the staff was very kind. The room however is set up where there is not much privacy. The vanity/sink area are not enclosed, so anyone getting ready in that area are sure to wake a person sleeping in the bed, which is right next to it. There was zero utensils Knives, forks, spoons etc...There were 2 paper cups. Bonus for the 2 warm bottles of water in the fridge.

Nicely positioned hotel slap bang on the beach. Check in on time - just. Nice spacious room - good clean amenities and great view (especially for the sunsets!) Marking it down for a poor bed which had seen better days - and the roll together mattress (or base) i didn’t dare investigate! Noise was also a small issue - but mainly because this seems to be a party hotel in a party town. However, neither items detracted from a great three night experience!
