Bad rooms with late booking

The rooms were not clean, or in good condition. The first and third rooms were not cleaned and the second had lights that were broken. The third room had a door lock that did not work. After a long day we took the room with the broken light since it was at least clean. Booked last minute while traveling home due to delays so maybe that was the reason for uncleared rooms?

Disappointed in St Paul NC

Room was dirty. Crums,paper towels. A wrapper was in the toilet. Went to the front desk, young lady was very helpful. Told us you can have your money back or stayb on the 2nd level. Well my wife had her knee replaced and cannot climb stairs. We stayed. In the am there were bugs on the night stand we have photos. We have stayed here in February for over 20 years. Chances are we will not return.

Disgusting! Don’t stay here!

From the moment we entered our room, it was clear that this establishment had seen better days.The room was in a deplorable state, resembling a space that had been neglected for far too long. Broken fixtures hung precariously from the walls, and the overall atmosphere was unsettling. The bedding appeared moldy, the pillows were in even worse condition, and the towels were dingy and stained. Everything that was supposed to be white had taken on a grimy hue, making it clear that cleanliness was not a priority here. When we requested new linens, we were met with indifference. The staff informed us that this was the standard and that we should not expect anything better. To add to our discomfort, the heating system in our room was malfunctioning. We had to reset the outlet ourselves just to get some warmth. The walls were marred with holes, and exposed wires hinted at a long-forgotten thermostat, leaving us feeling unsafe. As we prepared to leave, we noticed the curtains had what appeared to be vomit stains—an oversight that should never happen in any hotel. The shower was equally uninviting, stained and seemingly untouched by cleaning staff for ages. It was evident that the hotel was aware of these issues but chose to ignore them.To make matters worse, despite checkout not being until 11 AM, we were rudely awakened at 9:45 AM by housekeeping knocking on our door. This lack of consideration for guests’ comfort was the final straw. we reluctantly stayed as it was non refundable.

Bed Bugs

My stay at this hotel was horrible, the bed had a bed bug infestation. I am covered in welts that are swollen and oozing from the bites. I was unable to speak to anyone at the hotel regarding this. This is horrific, I may need to go to an urgent care facility.

The door lock on the inside was pried open. Bathroom light fixture had bugs and debris on the inside. No coffee pot with the coffee maker. No microwave in the room. Asked the maid for towels and didn't get them till 4PM. Very strong deodorant smell in the room. TV had no instructions. No cable guide. Had to get the office to get it to work. The buffet had no milk for the cereal. Waffle machine was broken. No coffee was made. I had to get someone to make more. No brochures in the office area to show nearby restaurants and local activities. The big plus was the bed was excellent.Very comfortable.
