Great overnight stay

The loft suite is very suitable for a quick family trip. Nice to have 2 beds and a sofa bed for the price. The heater can be loud for night time. The hotel is a bit outdated and needs a bit of a retouch. The free breakfast is a plus.

Shower sprayed out sideways and got door wet. When I wiped up the water with the bathmat it came up filthy. Dated furnishings but were adequate. No plug-in places for electronics, minimal electrical wall outlets, no way to turn off bedside lamps without getting out of bed. Breakfast area very attractive; no hot food, no proteins, or fruit.

Nice place but moisy

It is a decent hotel however, proximity to the highway made it noisy. Also, heating system is individual room based and at times was very noisy. Other than that, everything else was good

suite with a king bed loft and bathroom upstairs, 2 bathrooms and kitchen, good value breakfast included. Property is old but clean and has character. Would definitely stay again

Absolutely loved the room, breakfast wasn't the best, by time we got to the dining room around 7am there was nothing left and nothing filled up. The parking was bad, so many work trucks taking up two stalls and taking up the whole parking lot. Had to park far both nights.

The room we stayed in (217) had been recently patched up. However there was drywall dust all over the main bathroom and coat area. We only had two towels for four people. There was a leak that dripped from the upstairs sink into the floor. The staff suggested ‘put a towel down’ we insisted they bring bucket-which filled over night! I thought it was an economical place to stay while we skied Marmot this weekend but it was disgusting. Topping off the stay was the rock hard muffins from the continental breakfast. Not just stale—ROCK HARD! I peaked into the food prep room to tell a staff about the muffin. Gross I would not ever eat the breakfast. That room was beyond disgusting. I have emailed management but clearly they don’t care. Never will I ever stay here aging! I may email the Environmental Public Health Board though. This is a job for Alberta’s Public Healrh Services.

Good value for what you pay.

We enjoyed our stay here because of the value. We stayed in a room with a loft and found it very spacious. The furnishings are old and need updated. The beds are average and the pillows lumpy. I recommend bringing your own pillow. We tried using the pullout bed but it was so uncomfortable that no one could sleep on it - we had to squish our son on our bed with us. The breakfast is fine. The waffle machine is great. The receptionist was friendly. Overall, the hotel is good value and we enjoyed our stay. You get what you pay for and so you gotta keep that in mind.
