Never made it to the room. Two males in a vehicle attempted to either set us up for a robbery or worse. Slowly pulled up behind us and tailed us to the room in a vehicle and waited for us to exit our vehicle. Luckily I had already watched him slowly pull away and creep behind us when we left the front desk. They waited approx 100 ft away from our vehicle when we reached our room waiting for us to exit but we refrained from providing them the opportunity that they looked for. I reported the incident to the front desk and was in the process of calling my booking agent when the 2 males in the vehicle circled again and stared at us in our vehicle before taking off at a higher speed than normal when they realized we had made them. My wife and i allowed time for them to give us an escape window at which time we quickly left the premises. We saw them attempting to bring their vehicle to a position where they would have approached us from the rear of the location we just vacated. Fortunately sufficient barriers were presnt to permit us a clean escape.
Oddly although we had turned in our key at the front desk and requested checkout, when our agent contacted the person at the front desk they still claimed that we were still checked in
