Had a great day stay in Newport at Hammet’s Hotel! Particularly appreciated the “hustle” of the Valet/Porter, and friendliness at the Front Desk. We have stayed before and will be back!

room was very clean and the bed was pretty comfy. set up is a little awkward because you can see directly into the room from other rooms as well as common areas. customer service was average, the attendant at the desk wasn’t the nicest/most welcoming which was disappointing as we stopped there for a night in our mini-moon. valet was great; however, we could have walked to our car as it was steps away from the front door, so pretty pointless.
