This hotel was an absolute nightmare from the moment we booked it, until we left. I have never experienced this level of incompetence in the service industry, ever! And we’ve stayed at hundreds of hotels and never had this happen!
First, the hotel entrance is awkward and was impossible for us to find. We drove around, followed the gps AND called reception! The entrance is in a cul de sac like street. On a long, wide and tall building, stuck between two restaurants with a modest sign. What we didn’t realize is that there was a large truck (small transport) parked in front covering the sign from our angle driving by the first couple times we drive by it. However, when we called? The woman could not give me instructions and just said sorry, (while we were at the next intersection).
Then we had to check in and that same woman took nearly 30 mins to give us our keys! And we were the only ones in line. We then asked her where the parking garage was. She had to ask a random hotel guest ask they walked by and shocked me.
We finally got in the room which was small but ok for one night. We called down and asked for an extra pillow for my son who was using the pullout, she simply said no. That they didn’t have any?! WHAT?
When in bed, I saw alerts on my phone that I was charged $420 security deposit instead of 200. So I went back down and had to get it corrected.
Honestly the most frustrating and slow experience we’ve ever had. What hotel doesn’t have an extra pillows? Awful.
