O hotel não é ruim, é lindo, confortável, mas o atendimento interno deixa a desejar em alguns aspectos. Logo no início percebemos que estávamos fazendo algo errado pois todos que nos atendiam nos restaurantes e bares do hotel nos tratavam com má vontade e de forma desagradável, mas não era algo simples ou singelo, era maltratar mesmo, bufar quando pedíamos um drink ou mesmo ser grosseiro ao responder sobre o cardápio e opções dos restaurantes. Então, observando as pessoas, percebemos uma cultura insaturada sobre o recebimento de gorjetas. Estávamos no sistema All Inclusive mais caro que já estivemos pq não bastava um oi dois dólares para pedir um drink, notas menores que 5 dólares não mudavam a cena. É indiscutível! Ou vc paga o que eles chamam de propina ou vc terá que vencer o mal humor de todos os funcionários. E isso não é culpa deles, isso é culpa de um sistema que remunera muito mal as pessoas e faz com que dependam dessa outra renda para sua própria subsistência. O hotel tem uma estrutura linda, num lugar muito afastado da cidade (e tudo bem) porém bastante perigoso, por isso só saia do hotel se for realmente necessário. Na cidade ocorre o mesmo que no hotel (sem propina vc terá péssima experiência ao transitar por qualquer lugar). Se quiser sair do hotel, vá de Uber até um grande shopping. Passeios culturais, passeios solo para comprar lembranças devem ser evitados. Tudo é uma grande pegadinha e vc irá gastar muito mais do que gostaria.

The good: The beach was nice and we mostly enjoyed our room (although the ceiling was leaking and apparently the way to solve that is drilling a small hole to let the water drain onto the floor as a slipping hazard…) The bad: The food is mediocre and the alcoholic drinks have zero alcohol. If you want actual alcoholic drinks, you’ll need to get shots separately and put them in your drink. This hotel only cares about its “VIP” members. VIP guests get preference on absolutely everything, including a walking orientation of the resort as well as restaurant reservations which are pretty much impossible for regular guests to get. I’ve NEVER experienced such a hierarchical resort before. But by far the worst part of staying here was the staff. The staff here are....unkind, dismissive, and sometimes straight up rude. The staff largely ignore guests waiting for services and talk loudly to each other instead. There are no smiles, greetings, niceties or even common courtesy. The worst incident was when we went to eat at the Asian restaurant, I ordered food off an available restaurant menu and I was publicly chastised by one of the staff for ordering two additional dishes. The public confrontation ended with me asking “am I not allowed to order what I want…at an all inclusive resort?” It was uncomfortable, unnecessary, and completely unprofessional. The way staff treat guests is completely unacceptable and not in line with any normal hospitality standards.

Hotel bom, quartos grandes ! Porém a comida no Buffet só café da manhã e no jantar sempre a mesma coisa ! Nos restaurantes que tinha que fazer reserva eram bons , porém não conseguimos reservar todos os dias ! As bebidas não sao muito boas ! Eu não retornaria nele ! A praia é mais ou menos também ! Prefiro a praia bávaro que tem mais areia branca e não tanta vegetação como tem a praia do hotel !

Beautiful property, extremely clean. Food was quite good, though it varied at times. Service was always friendly though sometimes slow at restaurants. The beach was beautiful and we were able to find places in the shade every day. It was a reasonable size and I felt safe travelling with several older teenagers. Since it was relatively small in size compared to some (2 main pools, one main beach area, etc), we felt good about knowing where they were at most times. The evening performances were always fun, a few of incredible quality and a few others that were enjoyable, but not off the charts. We really enjoyed the magic show and Circus performers. We also very much enjoyed the foam party at the pool, and the white dress beach party (a friend, alerted us to the fact that we needed to bring white clothing!). There are certainly fancier, all-inclusives in the area, but this was a very enjoyable trip and the property was great for our needs! Kids enjoyed the fact that we were upgraded to a swim out from with the pool, connecting the front edge up our two rooms. Weather was perfect!

My fiancée and I just stayed at Serenade Family side for 5 nights and had a great time! We came here for the sole purpose of relaxing, eating, and drinking. This resort fully satisfied all of our wants andneeds. Service (10/10): Adel at the Japanese hibachi made our first night wonderful. Alberto, Hector, and Blandino were amazing bartenders at the pool bar close to the Mexican restaurant. The entertainment employees always had a good vibe and made the events extra fun. Buffet staff and restaurant staff were always on top of the service, constantly refilling drinks and clearing dirty dishes. Food & Drinks (9/10): The food was great, we were never hungry and had so many options. Loved the choices in both the breakfast buffets. We also enjoyed the beach food truck for lunch and the sports bar food for late night munchies. Mediterranean had the best food in our opinion, and the steak house was not the best. Obviously all drinks are a little skimpy with alcohol, but just ask for an extra shot and they are happy to give it to you! (Don’t forget about the coffee bar where they serve amazing coffee, lattes, and espresso cocktails) Overall (10/10): We are so glad to have stayed at Serenade. The whole resort is very clean and the workers work extremely hard. Do not forget to tip the service workers for their excellent work! The waterslides are also super fun, great for kids and also great for adults like us. Beachfront was beautiful with many different fish and people cleaned up the

It was my first time at any resort in the south. My family was with me. We still have to try some other resort to compare and have a better idea. It was almost excellent but there are always things to be improved. Buffet was great and other dinning restaurants were awesome. Overall property was clean and well designed. Pools were clean and bars were excellent. Staff were so nice and cooperative but room service could have been better. There were few issues with room service. They did not clean the floors properly. Showers were designed poorly. When taking a shower it splashed water all over the floor. They didn’t even clean it well. Beach water was blue and see through but there was so much seaweed on the shore.

Serenade was such an amazing resort. Our first impression when arriving was the excellent staff. Everyone from the front desk team, the bartenders, the housekeeping, the entertainers, and the restaurant staff was excellent. They all had huge smiles on their faces always and made our stay even more special than we thought it could be. The food was great, the beach was amazing, the activities on the resort were fantastic. We loved the pool foam party, and the beach white party on our last night. Would recommend Serenade to all ages. My friends and I went for spring break, but it’s truly great for all.

The resort is nice for a getaway. We had a preferred club room (premium suite with outdoor jacuzzi and ocean view), so we had access to a separate pool area and separate area on the beach as well as premium liquor. This was nice as we were able to avoid some of the spring break crowd that overtook the other pool areas. Having a waiter/waitress in the pool area was a nice touch. The dinner options were great and reservations had been made ahead of time for us with the preferred club room. The Italian restaurant and the Japanese restaurants were our favorites. You will need a smart phone to scan a QR code for the menu. The mexican restaurant was great for breakfast or lunch and the Sport Bar was another great option for lunch or dinner. The buffet was ok at best. Much of the food was cold and any bakery items were very dry. The worst part of the entire vacation was constantly being approached to become an Xpand member. They were like vultures that stood outside of the buffet at breakfast time and were very pushy, often opting for different stories about helping them get points to earn favor with their boss or touting a bunch of free gifts. It got to the point we started avoiding the buffet all together. I go on vacation to relax and not constantly be harrassed to buy things. Because of how pushy and bothersome the Xpand workers were, I will never go to another resort that accociates themselves with that company.
