Had the pleasure of staying at Dunns Josephine Hotel. this is an old historic building that was originally a hotel back in the 1930's. It was renovated in 2019 be made back into a hotel. Every room is named after a jazz/blues singer. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the AC in the room was ice cold. The continental breakfast was just right for a quick bite. They even have a beautiful courtyard in back and free parking. This is a hidden gem not far from south beach and the cruise ports.

If you want a comfortable hotel, with some great history on display, this is the place to stay. Some of the room/bathroom decor looked a little tired - but the hosts were very welcoming and more than made up for this and the room was very comfortable.

We stayed for a Lady Gaga concert that was taking place at the Kaseya Center. It’s very close to various places, usually 8-12 minutes rides. We had a lovely time, the staff are so nice and welcoming. The room was clean and the AC freezing cold, which I love. Had a wonderful time there!

We found this little gem when we got stuck in Miami. It was just what we needed to lift our spirits. The decor was lovingly curated to capture the jazz era. We stayed in the Josephine Baker room and learned about her unique history. The bed was super comfy, the shower was hot with great pressure, and the A/C worked like a charm. The concierge was very kind and inviting. Skip the chain hotels and give this one a try!
