We arrived to check in later in the day, so there was no agent at the desk to greet us. There was a doorbell to be able to notify the staff that we were there, and he arrived promptly. Our room was clean, but you could tell it is rundown after years of use and some items appeared to be previous Super 8 things with the name blacked out. Our room initially had a musty smell and the carpet was damp due to the air-conditioning running. Once we adjusted that, it got better.
I believe that we were one of the few staying the night, so the hotel was very quiet and is in more of a residential neighborhood. It is not too far of a drive from the U of W Whitewater, which was where we were going for my daughter’s orientation and registration. It was easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. Breakfast was simply some pop tarts and nutrigrain bars for “grab and go”. There is free Wii fi onsite.
We may stay here again in the future while my daughter is in college. We will compare rates again as this was fairly inexpensive and works well for a one or two night stay.
