Room smelled like pee, musty, and dead fish. Beds and towels were dirty. I had to go buy towels and pillows likely I had blankets in the car. I bought Lysol wipes to clean the tables. Breakfast was pop tart, granola bar, and week old donuts. I was going to leave but couldn’t find the front desk person. We only stayed because we got in late and couldn’t find anywhere else to go. They need to shut down that place and do a deep cleaning. I never stayed in such a horrible place before. I would want my money back for my room and my poor mom’s room that got her sick.

The room was fairly clean. (I noticed a few spots that could have been cleaned better, but I used to do housekeeping). The hot tub (and the shower) were very clean. We love the hot tub! Roomy and very accessible. Bed and pillows very nice. No coffee maker, but coffee in the lobby. No pool.

I couldn’t stay in the room. There was a very bad odor from the AC unit that made me nauseous the longer I was in the room. Two other rooms smelled just as bad so I had to leave the hotel. The manager gave me a refund minus a $25 service fee.

The room was absolutely filthy and there was no one willing to rectify the issue. There was hair in tub, urine on the floor by the toilet, the room smelled of complete urine. Hair on the pillows, oil/fingerprint smudge marks on the lamp and dresser. Overall disgusting. We all slept with our clothes on and were very uncomfortable in the space.

The add said: Fairfield by Marriott is a franchised economy to midscale hotel brand of Marriott International. The properties target guests willing to accept fewer amenities for lower prices. Cost-saving measures included standardized building architecture and bedding, and the absence of a full-service restaurant, but a complimentary hot breakfast. Huge disappointment. I have stayed in Marriot's across the globe, and this was the worse. ECONOMY hotel is a gross overstatement. It looked like an old motel that Marriott bought for overflow for their main hotel in Whitewater, WI. I went for a college graduation and was very disappointed. No bathtub stopper (the tub drain was "fixed" for showers only =- no Kleenex, small bath towels...an embarrassment. AND NO ONE MENTIONED ANY HOT BREAKFAST... And obviously higher rates due to UW college graduation.

The room was dirty and did not have what was discribed or pictured. The bathroom shower was unclean and stained. There was no breakfast only coffee. The staff was unhelpful and not willing to allow us to switch rooms or help us what so ever. Very disappointing. Also it's no longer a Fairview it's now a Wyndham which makes the stay even more disappointing because our states with Wyndham are generally very positive.

The room was clean and freshly painted. So freshly painted that the room still smelled strongly of paint. Breakfast was very disappointing. We were told it was " Grab and Go" .... Poptarts and nutrigrain bars. For families that have food allergies (like us) this was not good options.

We arrived to check in later in the day, so there was no agent at the desk to greet us. There was a doorbell to be able to notify the staff that we were there, and he arrived promptly. Our room was clean, but you could tell it is rundown after years of use and some items appeared to be previous Super 8 things with the name blacked out. Our room initially had a musty smell and the carpet was damp due to the air-conditioning running. Once we adjusted that, it got better. I believe that we were one of the few staying the night, so the hotel was very quiet and is in more of a residential neighborhood. It is not too far of a drive from the U of W Whitewater, which was where we were going for my daughter’s orientation and registration. It was easy to find and there’s plenty of parking. Breakfast was simply some pop tarts and nutrigrain bars for “grab and go”. There is free Wii fi onsite. We may stay here again in the future while my daughter is in college. We will compare rates again as this was fairly inexpensive and works well for a one or two night stay.
