Our stay at Doubletree was fine, but not what we had hoped for. Having reserved a king bed, we were given a room with a queen and two kids’ beds. No answer at the front desk when we called to see if another room was available. On the plus side, we had two TVs, the room was clean and well appointed and the cookies at check-in were nice.
The room door had to be body slammed to open or close, and there was no elevator access to our floor. That was fine going back and forth into the room, but problematic with luggage.
This hotel seems to focus on hosting events. It’s a reasonable business model, but not ideal for regular overnight guests. We probably won’t be back.
