Good and excellent

Good hospitality from the hotel management. Very nice and friendly. Breakfast was in good quality and always replenished at the right times. We stayed there for 6 nights and found ourselves undisturbed and refreshed! Will definitely return to stay there in future!

It is what it is

Overall, I could tell the motel was run down, and maybe not in the safest location. I saw plenty of evidence of past violence within the room, broken doors, patched up walls, etc. This motel does not hand an elevator, and no access to lobby. I believe that has to do with safety concerns. The only thing that i didn't like the most was the deposit that was asked of me when i checked in because there was NO mention of that on Hotels.com. i had to pay either $50 for mom smoking or $30 for non. My son and i were here for a concert which he got tickets from a friend that couldn't go. I barely had any money left so i opted to take the smoking because it cost less. I really hope i get that deposit back.

Towels were dirty and when we asked for clean ones, was told to wait until morning. Shower bar broken. There were guests smoking in the adjacent nonsmoking room. Lobby doors locked.

As we were leaving the counter, a man walked in with a prostitute. We go to the room and there are people selling drugs outside and then we go into the bedroom. I asked for a non-smoking room. There’s an ashtray in the room and all I am breathing in is old smoke. I look over at the bed. The bed has burn holes all through the sheets and comforter the bed was warped. We basically walked in and walked out, went downstairs and asked for a money back. Still waiting on the refund. Almost a week later.

Our first room wasn’t cleaned. Our second room had missing amenities which took several attempts to fix, and bathroom was not the most clean. Other peoples hair in the tub made me opt to not shower. The hotel is right next to a gas station and very busy highway crossing. Not walkable to anything. There was a fight in the evening outside our window. I will say the bed was comfy and the AC worked so I slept well.

Jebus this place was something. The office is locked and you have to hit a buzzer to get someone to come to a window where everything is done through a small slot. Definitely doesn’t inspire a feeling of safety upon arrival. Checking in the guy showed up after a few minutes. Checking out took much longer. I actually had to call the motel, was put on hold, and then she came back and said she couldn’t get in touch with anyone either. Why is the motel phone number outsourced and how is that even a real answer? Anyways, room was clean. No water pressure in the shower. Maybe it’s one of those low flow save the planet shower heads, but it’s not. Toilet wasn’t great. Thankfully I didn’t have to poop because the water flushed in slow motion and eventually not at all. Fridge made a loud clicking noise the whole time. I rarely leave negative reviews but this place was nuts. I’ve never stayed at a motel where the office was locked with a set up like a drive thru bank slot. Stay somewhere else.

Place was around a lot of druggies. Staff was unpolite as they made me stand outside in the cold if it is after hours. They also didn’t have my room ready and made me wait. 45 minutes at the gas station.
