This La Quinta was ok. Room was nice. Hallways and elevator could use a touch up of paint. Breakfast was just ok. Grits were not cook well- still hard and cold. So I had cold cereal instead. The coffee was not fresh brewed, just an automated machine where you press buttons to dispense either decaf or caffeinated. Prefer fresh brewed quality coffee. No half and half -just artificial creamer.

Not worth the price paid. Hotel is in need of serious upgrade. Telephone did not work. Lighting was POOR. Had to open the blinds at night to let parking area lighting come in to see computer key board. Hot water took over 5 minutes to reach the tub/sink. Windows leaked when it rained.

Need repairs/replacements

The hotel was better than some I stayed in the area. I can say the bed was ok, need new mattress. The bathroom was ok, need new seal around the tub, the condition around the outside of the tub need replacing. The bathroom wall need repaired and paint touchup along with the door. Oh, the ice machines need replacing, there was mildew and old parts that the paint on the machine was cracking. No telling what the inside looks like if the outside is nasty. It looks contaminated and could hard us customers. Need a new machines.

The stay was good I was on second floor the guest up over me was very noises they walk all night the floor was very squeaky when ever someone walks or move it was not a pleasant noise to keep hearing all night couldn't get any rest.

Okay stay at La Quinta

The location of the hotel is great. We also found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast options were very limited as most of what was labeled was just empty. However, a food delivery was made towards the end of the breakfast time and I believe this contributed to the limited selection. The dining room attendant did offer to make more food for my family after breakfast time ended. I thought that was a nice gesture that she didn’t have to do. The bathroom left a lot to be desired. It looked like a lot of patch work repairs had been done to the walls and shower. We only stayed one night so we made it work but it was not relaxing at all. They do offer dove products so that’s nice. We come to Albany often to visit family. I’d keep this hotel on my list when my regular options aren’t available.

Travel Nurse assignment. Poorly lit room bleach stains on carpet which made the room smell moldy. Weird bathroom door while opened into the bathroom blocked the tub. I personally was shocked! I’ve stayed at LaQuinta all over the USA. This was very surprising

The room was clean and fresh. There are some areas that need to be touched up. The bottom of the mirror and bathroom door. The trim is some areas of the room are hit or miss. Overall, I liked the hotel and will stay again.

Maintenance was sand blasting the pool right below my room (314) for the first two days of my stay. They didn’t stop until 9:50pm on Tuesday night, after texting the front desk several times. (Text thread below) This was a business trip, which I had to get up early in the morning. I would have had made other arrangements if I would have known they were planning on working so late. Btw, I never did get a text or call from the manager with any kind of “reward points” like the person I was texting below.

Waste of money!

This is an overpriced hotel. It is not worth what is being charged per-night. Asking premium price for average or below accommodations. They are trying to keep up with other hotels on pricing in the area when they should be worrying about how to improve the property. I will not stay here again. Poor room, poor breakfast. I will say the front desk employees(evening/morning) were very courteous and helpful. Other than that, do not waste your money...
