This place is an oasis near Bodh Gaya. I ended up picking Marasa Sarovar based on the photos and price and was a bit surprised that the photos did not overstate how amazing this property is. I also regularly ate at the on-site restaurant and loved the food here. I loved staying here and will come back next time I'm in Bodh Gaya. One thing to note is the location is a bit isolated from the center of town so you will have to rely on being driven.

The counter staff at reception were very poor as was the manager. They should explain which color section the room is located not just the number. They should have adequate supply of small bills to assist guests in paying for transportation. It took two emails over a week to receive a response about local transportation charges from the hotel. They should be more attentive. The other staff were great.

Concerns are very serious & needs to be resolved.

Only issue is the entrance from the main road to the surrounding areas of the property . It’s just believable and unacceptable as it’s encircled with slums,bad bumpy roads. Extremely unhealthy and dirty atmosphere pigs are roaming around stagnant waterfront. Really heartbreaking. But as soon as you get inside the property it’s unbelievable. It’s simply a heavenly atmosphere. Simply as if I’m coming from hell to a heaven. Thanks
