Door didn’t lock

Check in was fine. The lady at the desk was friendly. No towels at the pool. Went to shower, no shampoo. Our room smelled of a wet animal. After our kids were asleep we noticed our room didn’t lock at all. Needless to say we didn’t sleep at all. Told the person when checking out and they didn’t seem to care at all.

Stayed for 3 nights and our room was not serviced the whole time we were there. Day 2 the towels were taken out of our room and not replaced. I had to go to reception and ask for clean towels and was told the rooms are serviced every other day. Day 3 again the towels were removed from our room and not replaced, again had to go to reception and ask for clean towels and was told the rooms should be serviced every day. When I checked out I mentioned that our room wasn’t serviced and was told that you have to ring reception and request the room to be serviced, if this was the case we should have been told this when we checked in.

the only thing that i didn't like very much was the breakfast times. in every other hotel i've stayed in, the breakfast time is extended by a couple of hours (starts an hour earlier and ends an hour later) on the weekend. i heard another person complain about this too. but that was a small thing. everything else was good.

YOU messed up my reservation. I called and worked with a online agent who couldnt fix it. When i arrived to the location they cancelled my rooms and i had to drive 40 miles to get anohter hotel.

We saw other good reviews for this hotel before booking but unfortunately did not share the same experience. The guy at the front desk wasn’t friendly, and we had to wait a bit for him to come out from the back to check in. Our room at first glance was OK. It smelled like someone smoked weed in it previously. The floor was filthy! There is no way it had been mopped any time recently. There were stains on the bedding which does gross you out. We didn’t sleep well so ended up just leaving at 3am to finish our road trip home.
