Best hotel in Tuscon

One of the best hotels I have stayed in during my travels across America. Location and quality were 100%. A lot of history to the hotel.

Beautiful stay!

Lovely property with all the flowers and green areas. The rooms are super quiet and the staff is quick to help if there is an issue.

A+

The Arizona Inn is first class in every way. The room was comfortable, the food was outstanding. It was classy in every way.
Doug, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The property itself is lush and beautiful. The room was comfortable, clean, and relaxing. I dined at the restaurant and ordered a hamburger and fries, along with a creme brulee to enjoy later in my room. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced stomach cramps and became unwell, which was due to the hamburger and fries. I had been looking forward to that sweet treat. But left the creme brulee in the refrigerator untouched as I did not want to get any sicker. This discomfort prevented me from sleeping soundly. I am uncertain if the food was somehow contaminated or if proper hygiene practices were not followed.

I liked the beautiful grounds. The food was excellent . The gift shop very nice. I was paying $800 for two nights. They put us in a terrible room the first night. I expressed disappointment and they put us in a better room the second night but I still paid $400 for a terrible room— small, dark and dingy. Left bad taste~ won’t go back and not sure Intrust Expedia !

Room had musty odor. Furnishings look like someone grandparent’s house. Bathroom floor was dirty. Grounds were nice. Staff very nice. Bartender friendly. Liked the free parking and layout of property. Wifi sucked. Rooms/baths need to be updated.

The Gem of Tuscon

Croquet, clay court tennis, badminton, ping pong, pool & chess. Excellent service, abundance of privacy, peaceful, relaxing, warm & welcoming staff, and the glorious African Room/Library! The Arizona Inn is an absolute gem. Once you’ve been a guest, you won’t want to stay anywhere else.
Natalie, 1-night trip

Wow!

The photos of the Arizona inn rooms and property do NOT do the place justice. It’s a true gem and the staff are just as lovely. The place was built in the 1920’s and yet the grounds and room were both more spotless than most newly built hotels! You will not be disappointed in your stay at the Arizona Inn!
Sara, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

It was nice to stay somewhere besides a chain hotel. Staff were pleasant, friendly.
Tammy, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beautiful hotel. Stayed for 3 nights in a room with patio-mostly private patio. Nice pool-cold water, towels and sunscreen provided. Cushioned lounge chairs and cushioned chairs for shaded area with tables. Ping pong and croquet games available. Ping pong table was close to my room so was a bit loud, but it was happy loud, lots of laughing. Coffee in library was great! Main restaurant closed during summer but bar restaurant was open. A bit pricey and food wasn’t the best-no salt added so was a bit bland. Pianist was a nice touch. Overall-4/5 stars. Had a bit of an old building with previous water damage smell inside room. There were ants & lizards outside. There is a bit of a silver fish issue inside room. Otherwise I loved it and will probably stay again!

Beautiful property! So quite and we loved the secluded patio. Lounge staff were friendly and attentive, Food was well prepared. Our disapointment was that the dinningroom was closed fro the season. Since this was Memeorial weeked we were surprised that the dinningroom was closed.
Brit, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

Beautiful property with amazing landscaping. An oasis in the middle of the city Excellent staff throughout although restaurant seemed short-staffed - long waits to get tables cleaned and served
Nancy, 6-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The patio is my favorite place to dine, but there is no sign that says seat yourself. That would make it easier for guests. In addition, the food runners need to take a beat to allow the guests to see if they received the correct order because the servers don’t reappear until long after the food has been served. My only negative comments, but in a hotel of this quality, these should be rectified.
