Nice hotel overall, but not truly 5-star. No elevator (we were on the third floor), and at checkout we had to carry our luggage ourselves due to no response from reception. The beach is beautiful, the pool is small and far, and housekeeping once arrived at 6 PM despite saying it’s until 4 PM. Food is tasty but expensive. Good for two nights longer stays get uncomfortable because of the sand and limited cleaning.

Room was immaculate, service great and beach is amazing. Luis stood out as an employee. Luis remembered our names, drinks and was just terrific. All staff were courteous and friendly. Always a chair available on the beach. We look forward to another stay at Alde Kuká!

We had a great time at Aldea Kuka. It’s a really lovely hotel, it’s super relaxing and the staff were all so friendly. Our room was great and the location is fab. They gave us a lovely welcome Cocktail and dessert platter, which was delicious. They offer free yoga and Pilates classes every day, which is a really nice touch. It was very easy to book excursions and bikes through the reception. We walked into the town every night along the beach road and it was so nice to be able to wander to Mosquito beach in just 10 minutes. I thought the location was perfect and I’m glad we chose that end of the island instead of the other end. There were a few issues with the hotel. The soundproofing of the rooms is pretty much non-existent. You can hear your neighbours’ every move in the rooms above and either side. The other letdown was the food. While the breakfast menu was extensive, we didn’t think any were that good. The fruit plate you get each morning is nice. We had lunch on one of the days and that was ok but decided not to eat at the hotel again as there are many better options in town. Having said that, we didn’t try the sushi restaurant. We had guacamole one day and it was the most expensive guacamole we had on our entire trip (£16!) and nothing to write home about. Spa treatments are expensive. We thought for this type of luxury hotel it was missing the finer details (robes, slippers and maybe a few treats you usually get at 4/5 hotels) but would definitely stay again

¡Increíble hotel! Tiene un gusto exquisito en el diseño y la atención es de primera, en especial el capitán Israel y el mesero Luis. La alberca es espectacular, el lugar perfecto para disfrutar del atardecer, en mar literal enfrente con camas muy cómodas. La ubicación es inmejorable, ya que puedes llegar caminando tanto a Punta Mosquito como al centro. Sin duda, volvería a hospedarme aquí. ¡Muchas felicidades por el excelente servicio!

Room was clean, a bit sparse. No dresser, tv and no door on the bathroom- def something to keep in mind. Room faced the road and it was a bit loud early in the mornings. Resort itself is gorgeous, beach and pool- beautiful. No issues with hot water. Staff were all great. I didn’t love the food but husband thought it was good. Breakfast was great considering it was included. I would stay again and I would recommend it but a different room.

The most beautiful hotel and beach, that we have ever visited. Great overall service in reception (we changed rooms, better view, and some construction work got stopped after we mentioned the noise). The staff was increadible friendly and very helpsome. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was very nice. Only two things were not ok. We had booked the christmas dinner on the hotel (it was double in prize compared to other nice restaurants and the food was not great, main cource especially). The other thing was a feeling, that the hotel was very keen on making money. You saw it in the small things. No water was put in hotelroom, only 4 nespresso tabs for a 10 night stay (100 pesos for aditionals). We broke a drinking glas in the room and was asked to pay for it (which we refused and reception ended up saying ok, but not a good experience). But overall a fantastic hotel og the most beautiful beach, that we have ever seen.

Nice looking hotel, great breakfast and the best sunbeds I saw in Holbox. Biggest drawback is noise. This is both for the rooms which don’t have noise isolation and the beach area due to the constant back and forth driving from the side by sides and fourwheelers, right by the sundbeds.
