Lovely hotel. Right next to the historic town center and extremely close to the wineries and great restaurants. The room was spacious, clean and provided a lovely view of the valley. The family that runs the hotel are so kind and happy to answer questions and are very accommodating. We really enjoyed it and I highly recommend the hotel.

Right off the main piazza, renovated, clean, AC, and I upgraded to a room with amazing views. Parking was down a bit further, but in reserved space, so I felt safe leaving the car and didn't need it while I stayed a few days in Montepulciano. Hotel common areas are quite lovely and unique and I learned "Riccio" is hedgehog, so then understood the predominant presence of these cute creatures throughout. I would stay again in a heartbeat.

This family run (I think 7 generations!) hotel is quaint, cozy, wonderful and some rooms have amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyable and we'd stay there again. Very good location but note that parking is a hike - typical of any place in historical area of the city. Excellent staff, and very helpful.

This property is the hidden gem of the Tuscany region and is a must stay for anyone visiting the area. Our room was large enough for 3 adults (loft area with a single bed) and the view from the suite was spectacular. Breakfast was also fantastic (not included but worth the 10 euro per person). This is a family run small hotel with great staff and service. 5 star review!

Excellent stay in very unique town!

This hotel is so historical, be prepared for lots of artifacts to observe. There is an elevator, but expect so steps. The location is excellent in Montepulciano, right on the Grand Plaza.

Wonderful historical property situated in the heart of Montepulciano with car parking available a short walk away. Our room was very comfortable with lovely period furnishings. The hotel has a small but very pretty rooftop terrace with wonderful views over the surrounding countryside. The owners and staff were very welcoming and helpful.

The hotel was in an incredible location!! Steps away from the centre, shopping and restaurants. The view from the window in our room was breathtaking. Getting to the hotel, dropping off our bags, and then finding parking was a bit of an ordeal. The staff and hotel made it all worth it though!

Everything was beautiful and location was great. If you're in good shape and don't have a huge amount of luggage, ask for the final parking location in advance and just go there. It's a long hike up a hill, but in our opinion walking would have been preferred to driving our rental through the heart of town, which was easily the most stressful part of our trip.

Beautiful hotel in charming medieval city

This hotel was fantastic - the name means "Hedgehog." Location is just off the main square and features a beautiful courtyard and grand marble staircase. There is an incredible rooftop terrace which was a nice surprise. The hotel reserves several parking spots a few blocks away. Great place to spend several days
