The absolute worst LaQuinta or Wyndham experience by FAR!! We reserved THREE rooms for 7 adults and two children. On top of the room charges, I was charged three separate $150 fees for "incidentals" per room. In addition to the $450 incidental fees, upon checking out, our bank account was charged another $583 "smoking fee" when nobody in that room even smokes! The day AFTER I checked out, I was charged another $604 without explanation!! At this time I was on a cruise out of New Orleans with 9 Family members on Family vacation and out over $1500 in my checking account that has still not completely fallen off. In addition to the excessive fees, the facilities and staff were horrible. The bartender was rude when I asked if I could use my "free drinks" for non-alcoholic - she wouldn't even give me a cup of juice for my ticket! The breakfast was cold, stale, burnt and not a good selection. There was no supervisor or manager on duty at 10:00 am when checking out. I requested a supervisor multiple times to which the front desk associate insisted she was the only associate on the clock who could help and that I would need to call customer service. Our rooms were musty, the carpet was wet under the AC unit, one AC unit didn't keep cool, a door handle broke that was glued on and my child's bed had yellow stains on the sheets. I have pictures for proof. This hotel is completely disgusting, understaffed and purposely over charging innocent travelers. Make it right!

The hotel as a whole was nice. The bathroom was an issue. The toilet didn’t actively flush, we had to keep opening the back. The TV remote was not working. The maintenance came up with a second remote to turn the TV on but left us with the broken one. The breakfast was expected; rubbery eggs, salty patty sausage and waffle makers.

We checked in on a Friday. While there we discovered that someone put the ironing board in the closet with syrup on it (the cover was towards the wall). We notified the front desk, so that we wouldn't be charged, to have it changed/replaced (this was Saturday). We called back several times for this reason and someone FINALLY came late Sunday afternoon. We also called to have fresh towels brought in and guess what? YEP towels at the same time as the ironing board replacement cover! Calling the front desk is a waste because the phone rarely got answered. We had to say something either on our way out or returning. When we were able to talk to someone about our issues, a text was sent to the person responsible, but, of course, they could not be located. Some of the other guests on our floor were extremely loud. One group came in around 3 a.m. and could be heard all the way down the hall. A family checked in the room next to us and the 2 rooms across from us and slammed/banged the doors in and out of each other's rooms multiple times. Good thing we were there for the city, not the hotel.

Made me make a deposit for the room and it was already damaged. Had to speak to the front desk and I took photos. But it is in a great location! Also need the key to enter the hotel, so that is a good safety precaution. Breakfast only goes until 9am weekdays, not late enough.

The location was good,very quiet had to deduct a couple of points. On a few things starters Wifi didnt work so had to buy expencive data packages form my phone provider. The breakfast is fine if you stay only for a few days not much variety. And the biggest thing was no hand soap and i asked for new towels like 3 or 4 times without anything happening. So i used the same ones like 11 days. Other than that you get what yoy pay for

Good: Location is good: on downtown, staff are friendly and responsible. Bad: When we came, the fridge was damaged, basin was blocked ( they repaired quickly), but wi-fi didn’t, work all the time in our room! We have to go to lobby on1st floor to use wi-fi every day. Break first was just so so, the pool is small, water looks dirty, the house keeper only changed towers and garbage bag ownce for 4 nights living, but by schedule they should clean the room every day! So generally, I don’t think services match with the price.
